Cons: A bit pricey for a metal cage; holes to screw SSD drive is a bit small so normal screw driver head may not fit. Had to use a skinny screwdriver to install SSD

Pros: High quality nickel plating; comes with enough screws for SSD and mount to desktop
Comment:
Not much to discuss. It holds 2 SSD's in a HDD slot. Good design. See Cons above.

Holds 2 2.5" SSDs like it says, not much else to it.

Cons: expensive for a bracket

Pros: solidly constructed... comes with all screws. good tolerances.
Comment:
I only had 1 hard drive bay on my lenovo m72e SFF desktop. I wanted to put 2 hard drives in....The solution was this bracket. This was the only one that showed in pictures to have screw holes on the bottom and the sides to mount to a 3.5" drive bay.The intel stock bracket also has bottom and side mount holes but in that case; it is only a single drive bracket.Had these shipped to me. fit well. come with all screws.be careful if you need to bottom mount as not all brackets have bottom mount screws for the dual 2.5 to 3.5 adapters.also, i presume the metal can act as a heatsink of sorts for the lower drive.

what can you say they are a pressed piece of metal. The screw holes line up effectively and it is not flimsy. They function as described. I was capable to mount 2 sata laptop drives to one particular unit no difficulty. drive spacing only enables for a single SAS drive to be mounted versus two laptop drives, Bought two, I utilized these to mount 2.5 SAS drives in my case and they worked properly. The 15k drives trigger a lot of vibration (expected) so I am pondering I could require to look at one more option as I had to make a rubber sleeve for these to preserve the hum down.

Does what it was made to do. Holds my 2 OCZ SSDs in location. It leaves a slight gap inbetween the two drives in case you're worried about temp. One of the significantly less pricey brackets out there. nothing at all I can consider of.

No challenges at all. Worked very easily in my case with two OCZ Vertex drives. Users with normal cases must have no challenges with this product. None. Want it was a little more affordable getting that it is just a piece of metal, but it does what its supposed to do.

Economical, solid, holds two drives completely secure (but see "Cons"). The front of the base plate is shaped to give clearance for information and power cables. Screws are offered to mount two drives Ƙ), as well as to mount the tray in your really hard drive cage. Mounting an SSD to the plate is a little additional tough than it will need be. As you can see by the image, you will need to run your screwdrive via the outer plate to tighten the tiny screws. The screws then go by means of a hole (not a slot) and into the SSD. Considering that the alignment ought to be ideal, lining up the very first screw is tricky, as is the 3rd and 4th screw unless you leave the very first two screws a bit loose. This is *not* a major deal, but a horizontal slot for the screw would be far better than a hole. The plate worked fine in a Zalman HTPC case that utilizes specific extended-neck screws via rubber grommets to mount HDs.

It works, allowed me to mount my two.five'' SSD in my case with no problems.Inexpensive and straightforward. As yet another reviewer stated, it is a tight fit into the case especially in my modular case, but it did fit. Air flow might be an issue if one particular were utilizing traditional really hard drives, and yes as the other reviewer said, SSD do generate heat, but not enough for it to be an problem even if two were mounted in the similar bay converter imo. What much more could I ask for... it works, its low-cost but sturdy.

Sturdy, good quality manufactured item that can hold two two.5" drives. An OCZ Vertex SSD match completely in the upper position but as some other reviewers talked about it takes a tiny dexterity to get a couple of screws in spot as you have to feed the screw by means of a hole on the side. My initial plan was to set up the converter with SSD in the floppy disk drive slot of an Antec NSK3480 case but it wouldn't fit. In hindsight, this ought to not have been a big surprise. Nevertheless, the 3.five" drive mounting holes on the bottom of the SDP08 bay converter produced it a snap to install it in the tough drive mounting adapter that Antec uses for the three.five" drives in this particular case. Not actually a con, but it won't match in floppy disk mounting place (at least in an Antec NSK3480 case). I genuinely like this adapter and bought a second one for one more develop

Holds the drive just fine. I only applied it for 1 two.five" drive.Quite sturdy, a lot of metal. The design and style could be a tiny greater, but all round you don't perform with it that typically/long so it takes a little finagling especially with these smaller screws. I'd obtain again, no issue. Price is decent, would go well in a full case. I utilized in a JETWAY.

Great price tag.No unneeded parts. It will last as extended as the case. Just sits there. I wouldn't consider that this will be necessary in the subsequent gen instances, but we won't have to replace our Antec P180 to take benefit of ssd (which we wouldn't want to be with out).

Steel construction, Has space for two SSDs, Came with a bag of screws, Fits completely in my Antec Nine-Hundred Practically nothing at all. This adapter is straight and to the point. Despite the fact that, ŭ would be a much better price tag for some thing this smaller and basic. Most of the other adapters I've noticed are made out of plastic or are cooled enclosures, but this is a simple steel adapter that doesn't feel low-cost and doesn't need to have to hook up to a power provide.

Holds two drives securely. Was cheap. Didn't have any difficulties fitting every little thing together. Comes with lots of screws, each for the two.5" drives and the additional traditional case screws for mounting it in a 3.five" bay. If you mount a drive in the reduce half of the two regions offered, the circuit board on the underside of the drive will come uncomfortably close to some bare, conductive metal. I place down an insulation layer of packing tape among the bottom drive and adapter, and that's been operating fine for a month now. That little modification I had to produced is the only purpose I didn't give this five eggs.

Inexpensive, solid building, holds 2 of your two.five" SSD's. Barely fits into a three.five" Drive bay if the bay has some sort of quick release technique. Mounting 2 drives stacks 1 drive on prime of the other so no air can actually move about the bottom drive. Honestly this is an adaptor and it shouldn't have troubles adapting, but it does. SSD's do generate heat, look it up, and using this adaptor the heat is unneccessarily trapped about the bottom drive. So if you leave your program on all the time this isn't the finest choice. Due to the fact the temps of the bottom SSD will slowly continue to creep up the longer the system is on.

Strong metal frame. It match my new two.five" SSD completely and also match snugly into the drive bay. No challenges at all. Consider about it: it's a piece of metal. If it's constructed effectively, it's in no way going to have a dilemma. It comes with eight screws for attaching 2.5" drives and 4 larger ones to attach the unit to drive bay rails.
