I bought this with the asus eee netbook and I didnt even need to use the driver's cd. It was pretty much a plug and play and it runs quiet as an external drive. |
This is a very nice external optical drive. I has much more rounded edges and corners than the Samsung slim external drive. It works and is very handy in not requiring a external power supply. The lack of sharp edges and corners do not contribute to performance, but make it more please to handle and use. Would recommend this.
