This is a neat little cooling device. I had to modify the frame just a bit so it would lock in and have it flush with the front of my machine. Other than that, it installed very easy. Cool blue LED's light up the fans to give it a cool effect. Oh yea, and it does keep the hard drive cooler too :) |

Keeps the hard drives cool and no doubt increases the life of them too. its also blue and pretty I think the fans are a tad bit too loud but not substantially loud to an annoying point. |

Its a great cooler. It does just what it is supposed to do. The only con was that one of the threaded holes for the top cover was stripped out. Not that big of a deal. I would buy again. |

2 of the same drives, the main one in the regular bay i can hear doin its thing as usual but the drive in this setup is silent. the fans barely make noise and seem to move just enough air to flow over the heatsink. seems well built and effective. extra brackets come with it but the manual doesnt help much with the extras, seems it wouldnt be too hard to figure out though if needed. for one drive its a strait forward install. hot swaps are nice but this bay has a direct connection which is what i was looking for. |

Very easy to install. You'll need 1 4-Pin for the fans. The Drive mounts are rubber! Sweet! Well made and count on at least a drop of several degrees. Thinking about getting a second one. |

works great, fans not too noisy, more aesthetic than functional |

I use these only to make the case look better. Not really a good solution for anything else, but so cheap that it's worth the cost for esthetics. |

works really well cooling hard drives, front fan bracket has room for 3rd fan and there is enough space between the fans and front grill for extra filter if needed.love the blue lights ! |

Wow, great product. Looks awesome with cool front screws and 2 perfectly bright fans behind a nice metal grate. It was a joy to assemble, perfect fit for my hard drive, and VERY nicely designed. And oh yah, it cools nicely too. Awesome quality product for a rather decent price. only negative I can think of is the fans are a little hummy, but this is expected and they are definitely not loud enough to be annoying. Perfectly designed product, thanks Masscool! |

I'm using this not as a hard drive cooler, but instead as an exhaust fan for my case. My water cooler dumps the hot air inside of the case, so I installed this thing under it and turned the fans around to shoot the air outside. It's managed to drop the temperature a couple of degrees. The blue lit fans and the brushed aluminum finish are a nice touch. |

well thought out, should fit most any case,I am using outside of a computer case for a little project of mine,so I cannot address fit issues, but it has several brackets and adapters with it. |

If you're looking to keep your hard-drive at safe temps and do not want to invest in water cooling, this is probably as good as it gets...overall great quality and would definitely buy another one. It also comes with optional rails to which allow you to mount a 120mm fan on top of the heatsink. |

My PC was constantly overheating despite having a 120mm front fan, 120mm Rear fan, massive CPU heatsink with heatpipes and an 80mm Fan, and another to draw heat off of the Graphics card. I had to run it without the side and another fan blowing into the case to keep it cool. I was looking for another cooling option and found this great option. I was able to spread out my 3 HDD by relocating one into this and move it away while adding case cooling as well. My PC has never run cooler! This appears to be made well and certainly does the job. It is a little bit spendy, but works very well. |

When I first pulled it out of the box I wasnt for sure that this was gonna work as planned but all in all it works good i do like how you can add more fans if you want. |

azirithdor took the words right out my mouth. Workmanship, detail, and worth the dollars. I'm telling you can't go wrong with these HD coolers. I bought 2 of these for my WD Cav 1TB HD's. All I can say is wow...excellent!! Temps are very important to me @ idle in my TT Armor case, is 30 degrees, and 35-36 degrees tops at full load. Specs: Vista X64 Ultimate, Q9650 OC'd 4.05Ghz, OCZ 8GB DDR3@1800MHz, BFG 280GTX OC X3 Tri SLi, EVGA 790i Ultra :) I like these so much I'm buying another one and another WD Cav black 1TB HD for a total of 3TB encased in these coolers. High five to Masscool!! |

Had this in my fileserver for a month or so now and just orders 4 more for various other machines! Love this, keeps the drive much cooler and allows you to put 3.5" drive into a 5.25" bay. Machine's been running 24x7 form 6 weeks and this is silent. |

Excellent product. Needed a way to mount a 4th HD, but it had to go in an empty 5 1/4'' bay. Works great and looks cool (important when one is 61)! |

This is a great product for cooling a hard drive. It is very quiet and actually helps with cooling the entire case. The included screws for the heat sink plate are a bit long to properly hold thin hard drives. |
I powered it on only to find an extremely loud and annoying fan that sounded like it was hitting something on every revolution. It would silence and hum normally when i pressed in on the front cover. So, i disassembeled the front and monkied around with repositioning the fans for a half-hour until i finally achieved semi-silent fan operation. The design concept is great but the design and construction are poor. After my fix, it does keep the HDD cool.
