Cons: Not the fastest SSD, but it still clobbers a mechanical hard drive.

I have owned an earlier model and it has worked extremely well for several years now. This intel SSD is not the fastest on the market, but is a quality component. As soon as you opened the box you see that it's not merely a cheap product. I have had to toss several SSD's that have started to fail, but had no issues with any Intel. Additionally, the cloning software downloaded from the intel website makes transferring data very convenient. |

I purchased this SSD to run in my server because Intel are known for having some of the most reliable SSDs on the market. So far I am impressed with the performance. Unfortunately it costs more than other similarly speced SSDs, however the warranty and reliability of Intel SSDs are worth paying more for. |

I was upgrading from 120gb Intel 520. The 530 is actually a bit slower on read but faster write.Still a very good buy. |
