Cons: None so far

Pros: Fast, just works
Comment:
Extremely good value, as performance is 95% of much more expensive drives. Uses MLC instead of TLC (2 bits per cell instead of 3) which should make it longer lasting.Took 1 minute to install Windows 8.1 ENterprise from a flash drive. Yeah, that fast.Rebooting or resuming from sleep, can'T tell the difference, both are so fast.

Cons: Dont come with bracket

Pros: Price for a 240 GBGood look
Comment:
I really love this product. The price is good for a 240 GB SSD. My PC come really fast with that. If you order be sure to have bracket for SSD in your PC or order one with the drive. If you want a SSD with 240 GB and your on a budget, buy it.

Cons: little small at 240gblittle to pricey if not on sale

Pros: FastQuiet runs coolgood price on the one day sale
Comment:
this is my first SSD I ran hd tune pro file benchmark 4000mb file size sequential read 501607KB/s Write 432900KB/s Got this for my hp Pavilion g7 with a 8gb ram an AMD A8-4500M APU windows 8.1 laptop replaces the 500gb hd.boot times are not as fast as I thought they could be about 15sec the old hd about 25sec with hybrid bootbut I noticed big difference if I need to reboot as windows does not use hybrid boot when rebooting.this ssd makes loading programs so much fasteralmost as fast as if they where stored in ram it's like bam done loading.I don't have to hear all the clicking for the hd accessing dataand it runs cooler and won't get damaged from moving my laptop around like a hard disk can.my desktop feels slow now I might have to get a ssd for that too if I see this go on sale again if I have the fundsonly my desktop doesn't have sata3 so it may limit the ssd's speed a little.all an all I love this SSD and hope to see SSD prices keep dropping.

Cons: none

Pros: Fast and inexpensive
Comment:
This drive is thin, so if you don't have a drive caddy in the laptop, you may run into issues.Other than that, so go so far.

Cons: quiet SSD

Pros: OEM need to buy tray for it
Comment:
First SSD, I love it. Normal HD take like 40 second to boot up. This SSD only take 15 second to boot up. Very quiet, cant heart anything when my computer running. I use it to upgrade my old computer, and it works. Just like bought a new computer. And the price is so great than other brand.

Cons: None for me

Pros: Fast, black, good price
Comment:
I bought this on sale for $140 so the price was great. Looks good in my all black case. Here are the specs from Crystal MarkSeq r510.3 w421.7, 512k r352.9 w 337.7, 4k r26.95 w88.49, 4kQD32 r294.4 w220.0I think those numbers are not bad the 26.95 might be an anomoly but I did not do any more testing as I am not running this on a sever. I like Seagate so I might be bias but I am already looking at buying another to replace my OCZ 120g.

Cons: High idle power consumption -- do not use in a laptop

Pros: FastCheapAll metal construction
Comment:
This is basically a Corsair Neutron GTX. Toggle NAND, LAMD controller. Performance is solidly middle of the pack, but for $0.58/GB, who will complain? Only downside is the idle power consumption. I would have bought 2 of these (one for desktop, one for ultrabook) had the idle consumption been more reasonable. Instead, I opted for an 840 EVO for the ultrabook. The Neutron has this issue as well--it's obviously a problem with the controller that has not been addressed.

Cons: Nothing as of yet

Pros: FastDrive build is solidVery slim Height(almost half my M300 SSD)Price i $139.99
Comment:
Less then 10min to replace a 64GB M300 Real SSD main drive with this drive using EaseUS todo backup.Exceeds Specs in speedWould be nice for a 5year version of the 600 series drive that are not enterprise priced.

Cons: Seagate strangely tight-lipped about firmware updates

Pros: FastNew, innovative controllerToshiba toggle NANDGood price
Comment:
This is a modern, fast SSD. I benchmarked it at 526 MB/s read, 432 MB/s write with a 0.13 ms average access time.It uses the new Link-a-Media Devices (LAMD) LM87800 controller paired with Toshiba MLC toggle NAND. The LAMD controller is the same as that used in the Corsair Neutron/Neutron GTX drives. This Seagate SSD may be the last to have the LAMD controller paired with superior Toshiba NAND as LAMD has been bought by Hynix - in the future, Hynix would likely only permit a manufacturer to use such a controller with Hynix NAND, which isn't the same level as Toshiba NAND.The case is metal throughout and the controller is attached to it through a thermal pad which turns the whole case into a big heatsink. For what it's worth, the case looks good with a matte black pebble finish and a white stripe. My only complaint about this drive is regarding firmware updates. Seagate is strangely tight-lipped about firmware updates for this drive. Is my C675 firmware current? I can only assume so because Seagate isn't telling me there are any firmware update s available for this. They do not have a page where you can see the most current firmware (unlike Crucial, who are very open and organized about this). What happens when I do need to update the firmware? Apparently Seagate will send me the appropriate update r program. You can't see one in advance so I have no idea whether it will work under Linux.Perhaps they're being so cagey about firmware update s due to past problems with their mechanical drives?Apart from that, it's a nice, high-capacity, fast, modern SSD. Cons: -was OEM (no box, no instructions, no screws, no bay adapter) just came in a static bag.-Seagate does not seem to have any firmware upgrades or revision history on their website.

Pros: -Was inexpensive ($150 Black friday sale)-Same Link-A-Media controller and Toshiba Nand flash as Corsair Neutron GTX
Comment:
Came on for Sale for $135 for Cyber Monday, but missed that one.Seems to be a decent drive, has decent reviews, Toshiba's toggle nand is also well regarded in the industry. For the price is was a great deal, wish I would have gotten it at 135, but o well. Hopefully is lasts 10 years without issues, if so then I will give it 5 stars. Just wish NCIX would mention in bold that it is oem and has no box, screws, mount, etc. as I put it in a desktop. If you are putting it in a notebook, then no worries, also 7mm thick.
