I bought this a couple of months ago. 53$ including shipping. Arrived in 2 days. Runs fine although for the price, I was a little worried that it might have issues. I use it as a backup drive so most of the time, it is off. It is very quiet. 500 GB is plenty. Who needs terabytes of space? Except that 1 TB is only a few dollars more :) |

I bought 5 of these about a year and a half ago befor the hhd market went crazy. Got them for 40$ a peice on sale. 1 was doa but the other 4 have run flawlessly. I have 3 in raid0 and the other one by its self in another build.Great price for the performace at the time i bought. |

This drive in a budget PC makes a great reliable system.Even with the 1yr warranty I recommend these drives over other brands. Customer service is awesome! Fast and cheap advanced RMA if there is ever a problem with the drive, but likely will never need it. |

not the fastest or largest drive by todays standards but more then sufficiant for the tasks.purchased this drive for my daughters PC. Nothing special just a simple drive to get things running. can't complain about seagate... only had 1 drive fail out of 8 drives I have purchased. |

Seagate is my favorite brand to use for economic builds. Honestly I have never had one fail on me yet and I've used probably about 100 on client builds or the years. What more you could ask for. Reliable at a good price. |

Very good in any capacity unlike western green which are about the same price, these are 7200rpm compare to 5400rpm. Combine with SSD for the OS, it's perfect. |
A good, cheap drive for an everyday system. Stays fairly cool even when under constant load, not noisy and a reliable name.
