Cons: Not top of the line name brand yet.

Pros: Modular. Understated Design. Quality Components. Price
Comment:
Went for this as opposed to Seasonic/Corsair due to price. For $100 this thing is comparable enough to the major quality brands. Nothing at this price with no rebate came close. Had to give it a try. Will update.

Cons: Cables could be seen as stiff. But that's hard to avoid considering they are all sleeved and round cables as opposed to flat cables (like on some corsair's)

Pros: QuietOverall quality All the connectors you may desire
Comment:
Was leaning toward the corsair AX for it's gold certification but this unit was on sale at the time and I thought I could use the extra wattage for future builds. 2 weeks after ncix received 80+ gold units from Cougar. From the moment I had it in my hand, I could feel it was a solid product, big power switch, heavy weight, stiff connectors, great looks. It's also in my opinion very quiet and seems to stay very cool as the back of the unit is far from being hot (even after long gaming sessions)This may be because I use it at a very high load (I don't think I get over 350W according to my UPS, with a monitor plugged in speakers.

Cons: - None

Pros: - Cheap price 120$- 105C Japanese caps- Stylist- Very Quit fan- Modular
Comment:
This psu is great. Had it almost a week now and love it stays cool under heavy load.Replaced my 650 that died from crossfire setup and heavy cpu OC. This unit stays cool to the touch after over an hour of heavy load. This psu is so great for the price I picked a second one up for a buddies who's psu also just died. If your on a budget and want a top of the line PSU made with Japanese components and not cheaper Chinese ones, choose Cougar. Linus's video review sold me on this unit.

Cons: - none

Pros: - quality of build is excellent- packaging and accessories are awesome- quiet- tons of cables (modular too)- orange/black colour- cables are orange/white- small footprint (smaller than my mushkin 550w)- cables are long!
Comment:
This PSU is simply awesome for the price ($100 on sale). When I opened the box i was blown away at the quality of packaging and the quality of the PSU itself aesthetically. It is heavy (always a good thing for electronics) and has a small footprint, so it will fit in your case with room. The cables are long, plentiful connections, and the unit runs so quietly it is hard to tell if it is even on. Overall a great PSU that I would certainly recommend.

Cons: Brand :(

Pros: Price!Color!Watts!
Comment:
I got this to reply my older OCZ modxstream 700 watt (needed something with more oomph to power my gtx 570 sli set up haha)it's 80 plus silver...which is pretty damned good considering i got it for $115it's also 850 watt...and oh did I mention that it looks badass?Only problem is the brand...Cougar is part of a company called Compucase I believe...a brand which I've never heard of so the build might be of questionable quality...but hey. Not a bad upgrade for $115 :P

Bought this PSU on sale and couldn't be more impressed. Has a great build to it from the fan to the coloring to the meshing. The cabling is great, it is long and the sleeving around it looks exceptional. Comes with quite a few modular cables and even some Cougar branded cable ties. Highly recommend this power supply, especially if you can get it for less then $100.

Cons: Sata cabling is a little stiffy, due to sleeving...Compucase warranty servicing : Germany is,a little far away from north america

Pros: Race car like performance, interesting color scheme, instant power on demand...
Comment:
I just upgraded from a 610 W (PC POWER & COOLING) Silencer.First time I turned it on, I noticed a difference , right awayNot, that the Silencer is a bad product, but the performance was noticeable. Everything just worked quicker....

i just got this power supply and let me tell you that as soon as i hook up everything im like wow this thing is so quiet.the cable is long enough to reach the cpu from the back of the motherboard,i had xfx 650 watts xxx edition and the cable was too short to reach the cpu behind the motherboard so if your looking for the power supply this is the one its modular too plus i got mine when it was on sale for 109.99 great buy
