See Š for the massive issue.two. License is not transferrable! If your motherboard dies, your Workplace license dies with it! I bought this to go with a brand new Computer. It was excellent for 2 days till the new Computer's motherboard died. HP sent me a replacement Pc, on which I installed Office 2010, but when on the telephone trying to activate it (by transferring the license from the broken Computer), I identified out this version doesn't allow it! I am only permitted to use it on a now broken computer. This version really shouldn't exist IMO. I believe it's unfair to get a license to use software and have it stipulated that it is permanently tied to a specifc Windows installation on a specific device. Personal computer hardware fails sometimes and that shouldn't cost me nearly 赨. If you ever want to upgrade, reinstall, or reconfigure your computer system though maintaining your pricey Office license, this is NOT the version for you. |

If you have to purchase a copy of Workplace 2010 this is the least expensive you will locate. The setup file is downloadable at extremely quick speeds. mb No disc. This is meant for brand new computers that come preinstalled with an activator. If you are on DSL or some thing terribly slow it will take awhile to download the executable. I like this method of installing the MSOffice suite now. |

It looked like it would not activate again, but I called DigitalRiver and they reset anything. It right away activated, and I did not lose my other set up on the laptop. Great way to save โ if you already have the retail versions or other versions that come with a disk. Why must you destroy the environment with your huge plastic packaging Microsoft? Why?!?It's a tiny disk inside a huge plastic container that could have been reduced to a uncomplicated paper envelope pack. Do you have to drop trou on the planet Microsoft? This version is fantastic for those who want to acquire many licenses. I purchased a couple of the full retail versions that came with the disk and then bought the remaining licenses with these crucial cards saving me โ per license. Cheapest way to buy workplace 2010 House and Enterprise for a single pc This isn't definitely a con, but just so people know: When you buy this product you get 1 license only. If you obtain the retail box for ุ more, you get two licenses - 1 for your desktop and 1 for a laptop, exact same user. I don't think you can go wrong with Office Home and Business Edition when this is a good value over the retail and OEM media included version. It doesn't take that long to download using broadband, and the installation process is super easy. It has all of the essentials that most people need, and frankly, when it goes on sale or in a surprise special like when I picked it up, it's great. |
