Cons: High Pithced Sound "Waw-Waw's" to Much. The Quick and Easy Headphone Storage Feature Barely Works

Pros: Fairly SturdyDetachable Mic Works Really WellBass is GreatDecent Design
Comment:
There is a video at turtlebeach.com showing off these headphones. I watched it. The compact storage feature they show does not work quite that easily, and it feels like you're gonna break the headphones as you try to get it to bend to your will. Fortunately, for me so far, they haven't broke. I have onboard audio right now, so I don't know if it's fair for me to evaluate the sound quality, but, I have heard some high pitched rattling when listening to music, which has been somewhat of an annoyance for me. I'm waiting on NCIX to send me a soundcard where I can adjust the frequencies better. On the plus side, the headphones are actually quite comfortable, even though after your first 2 hours of wear they will start to feel a little tight, you quickly learn to forget that they are on your head. The detachable Mic is also pretty sweet, and the sound is good. It works well. Overall, these headphones are pretty sturdy, and I am mostly pleased with them. They look good, and hopefully, sound good. I will alter  my review to rate it with a soundcard as it comes in.

Cons: a little tight

Pros: real 5.1 surroundgreat bass sound
Comment:
This much better sounding than the Zalman 5.1. But the earcups are small and too tight. Maybe I have a bigger head. It makes me uncomfortable after 2 hours of wearing it. I have to wear a baseball cap so that it will not be as tight. Overall, a good product.

Cons: Could be somewhat of a better build qualityGet heavy after couple hours gaming session

Pros: Believable 5.1 surround soundDetachable micDeep BassNice long cordAbilty to adjust sound levels on each channel from the headphones volume controls

Great 5.1 headphones! I use to have some 5.1 zalman headphones, well if u call then 5.1..more like 5.0.But turtlebeach has done a good job creating nice discrete channel seperation and good bass for low frequencies. Alot of other reviews on other sites say that the headphones all of sudden break after couple months use. I believe that is false, as I have had these for 3 months and use them lots. Just treat them with good care and they will be fine. For the price you wont find a better set of 5.1 headphones. Highly recommended.

Cons: tight around the earsheavyno clip on the cord

Pros: 5.1 soundsolid build qualitydefinitely enhances gameplaydetachable mic
Comment:
All around great sound for gaming. I don't listen to much music though but they do have an option of switching to stereo. I mainly play FPS online and I must say that these in only a few days have improved my scores, being able to pinpoint opponents based on their sound is amazing and I probably won't go back to stereo headphones for gaming again. The build quality is solid. As a bonus the mic is detachable and there is a stereo adapter making them MP3 player friendly. The main drawbacks are aesthetically. This set is very tight on the head, particularly around the ears. They are also fairly heavy and the cord has no clip. All in all I love this set. My last set was a pair of Altec Lansing gaming cups and they fell apart in less than a year. If they were a little looser fitting and came with a clip I'd say these were the perfect gaming headphones.
