Cons: The medium/large earpieces fit comfortably over most of the ear, but with extended use, can cause mild soreness at the top-back part of the ear. The pads softened, and I toughened up, so I have no pain or complaints. At first the voice seems a bit distant, but my ears were adjusting from the default Xbox mic, which blares right in your ear. Your ears adjust, and you don't even notice it, you just turn it up a bit more. It's just natural that game sounds are going to impair your ability to hear voice in perfect detail. It's good, clear and functional. The only issue will be for picky, superior, gadget types. Because you will have to swallow your pride, and deal with a single cord coming from the xbox region across the floor to you. And a mic cord that goes from the controller to the very small junction box that will be resting on your dorito gut.

Pros: This is a GREAT Product, for this price range especially. Turtle Beach got the little details perfect in most cases. Cord and Feel Tons of cord. And a little velcro strap to wrap up the extra length neatly. It'll reach to your couch comfortably. Includes USB Extender so you can easily make it from your tv setup where audio plugs in, to a USB port on your xbox for Power. They feel good on your head and ears out of the box, but the pads work in and get even better.(Just a bit tough out of box, but probably intentional) The earpieces rotate up and down like normal headphones, but they also turn left to right on a little swivel so they contour naturally to your head instead of being flexed to fit. The medium/large earpieces fit comfortably over most of the ear, but with extended use, can cause mild soreness at the top-back part of the ear. The pads softened, and I toughened up, so I have no pain or complaints. They will fit everyone from your little brother to your fat-headed uncle with no trouble. So unless you have some SERIOUS HEAD, you should have nothing to worry about. Quality and Performance Mic boom is bendy metal, not some weird rubber. Bends like a gymnast, goes wherever you want it, stays there. Perfect. Yes, the voice and game have SEPARATE volume controls! I would say sound quality is SOLID/GOOD or Better. I have rarely put the volume over 1/3! LOUD, like OUCH loud, which is good if you're into that kinda thing. For the price, and the benefits of Headphoned Gaming, dealing with the cord is a small sacrifice. This is a HUMBLE, COOL-LOOKING, GET THE JOB DONE SETUP. And I'm Very Happy with it on every level.

Cons: The mic can break a little easy.

Pros: Good sound quality for a stereo headset, nice bass and flexible mic.

I've owned these X1s for a while now, bought it last year at least around 6 months ago. I can say that I was very pleased with this headset. Its a good headset for the basic gamers. This headset has helped me a lot in FPS games and I can say its like cheating almost. I can hear if a guy is to my left or to the right easy to pinpoint with the nice crystal clear sound. I am very pleased with this headset.

Cons: Starts to hurt ears after extended periods of playIf you turn it up too loud you won't be able to hear yourself and will probably talk louder - not good for discreet gamingA lot of cords!!

Pros: No extra noises (humming etc.)Great quality audio for what you payHigh quality mic & extender-thing (the thin part that connects the mic to the headset)Comfortable
Comment:
I purchased this headset because I wanted to do better in GameBattles. I was surprised at the quality - it lived up to the hype. I could hear exactly where footsteps, gunfire & explosions were. Only thing is after a while my earlobe starts to hurt. I just take it off for a bit and put it back on, not really a big deal but a little annoying. What's also annoying is that when you turn it up really loud you won't be able to hear yourself talking so you won't know if you're talking too loud or quiet. But overall pretty good for $75 CAD.

I've owned this headset for a day... and I have to say, even after that one day... I am impressed by this headset. This headset delivers a strong, crisp and realistic sound to your ears. It is definitely a must-buy, especially if you are a hardcore gamer like myself. Shipping took about three business days. Very VERY impressed with the product. Highly recommended to any hardcore gamers.

Comment:
Great mic 1000x better than the Microsoft one that came with my xbox. I use this with PC occasionally, so 2 purposes could justify the price.
