They will eventually break on you if you buy them, the speakers turn sideways for "DJ" listening I believe it's called. Unfortunately this is the main reason they are prone to breaking.While they do work they have very good sound, the simulated surround doesn't get much better. I'd even go so far to say I preferred them over a conventual 5.1 setup. The Mic is long enough on it, unlike most Mic's on similar headphones. The knobs on the volume control become loose after repeated use, they now hiss static whenever something is changed. The knobs also change when rubbed over any surface because they have become so loose. The USB connector on the decoder box is too big and comes unplugged with the lightest tug. The cord is prone to tangles, it acts like cord that has been rapped around a controller repeatedly.I would not recommend this Headset to anyone, in the end you will have a 150$ broken headset siting in a box somewhere. I only gave them 3 stars because I bought them somewhere else and cannot post a 1 star review on NCIX.com |

Great headphones the sound that I was missing on from my TV when playing PS3 was unbelievable. Even the music in the menu for black ops I could hear new sounds in.This set works with the PS3, XBOX, and PC.The cans rotate approx 180 degrees and have very comfortable hear cusions. |
NCIX please please stop sending refurbished items, the item came in an opened cardboard box, i can tell it was repackaged/someone returned it back in store.got it replaced though, these turtle beaches are very fragile items.
