Product has good features and nice design but very poor quality. It was working okay for about two weeks and after that screen failed. I have returned product and was credited money back. I think this product is discontinued by Coby itself. |

Worked great for awhile. Came with a couple dead pixtels on the screen. Started to have a black screen when watching a movie, sound still played but no pic. So much for a good deal, kids are using their 4year old 7 |

Disappointed.it's xmas morning and the portable DVD player from Santa has a high pitched screeching sound when it plays. Also there is a dot on the screen that the pixels burnt out. It will be going back to TD in the morning.How terrible is it to purchase a gift and have to take it back? The value was good for all the extra stuff you get, but the quality is lacking.I will pay extra for a Sony. |

I purchased this unit after owning the Insignia IS-PDV10 and was greatly disappointed in its construction. It is cheaply made and skipped with road vibration. I would not suggest buying this unless you will use it on a desktop. |

When I received this item It looked like it was not in good shape!! It looked like had been returned (Not Working, parts missing) placed back in sales, without being inspected and resold!!! |

Despite it's reasonable price, and the fact I enjoy other Coby products, I never got the chance to enjoy this Coby product. The shipper put a small item in a huge box, with almost no packing, so it arrived crushed and although it would boot after charging, it stopped, not matter what type of disk was tried. I had a similar experience, but only once with another vendor. Customer service is great, the products gair priced, but the warehouse ruins the company's effort. BTW the DVD portable I finally got, was an upgrade, as the picture quality of the 10" Coby wasn't that great. |

I bought this DVD player a year ago. I Love the features that everyone is raving about in the other reviews as well; Big swivel screen, lots of extras in the box, etc. I did find the remote a bit hard to use from the front seat when the player was mounted on the headrest for the kids in the back seat (it seemed you had you hold back behind your head and point it just right for it to pick up)It was the best thing for my 2 year old on last summers road trips. HOWEVER!!! After about 7 months the sound quit. All you get is static from the speakers. No problem the kid will have to use earphones-nope same problem. Ok, run the aux out to the computer speakers; same problem. So I found the box and grabbed the warranty info: only 90 days-no luck there. So I went online and started looking at reviews-it appears these things keel over in under a year all the time. SUMMARY-Nice unit, lots of features but let the ''Cheapskate'' tell you it's cheaper to buy quality once than this one every year. |

so far everything is working good....it arrived quickly.... i love it because i can swivel it and mount it in my car and use it everywhere i go...its easy for my 3 year old boy to use it too........it came with a wall and car charger, 2 headphones,the mounting thing, control, i think its just perfect. great for traveling. |

Nice looking!!It's nice to have all the buttons on the dvd player itself. So. if you lose the remote you still have all the options you need. No problems so far great for the price. |

Well priced alternative to factory installed DVD player. I needed something that attached to the front headrest, but this will not swivel when used in the car. If you are flexible and want to use it at home, on a plane, etc., you should be very satisfied with the performance. |
I ordered the dvd player for my daughter's birthday who has developmental disability and was so excited to get it I hid it from her when it arrived and when we tried to start it it would not work! we went through the instruction back and forth and this thing is not working. so disappointing. My daughter had another one of the same and it worked pretty good for about six months! Also I have to say that I am the only one who operates it no other hand....
