It's good, for the ten dollar sale price. It works exactly as it should, and that's all it needs to do. I wouldn't be chucking your drive around a laptop bag with this thing, though. More like leave it around the house for backups and media. |

Cons: Screws can be a little hard to get in all the way the first time. Make sure you have proper tools (precision phillips screwdriver with a good grip).

I bought this on price match for less than $10 to contain my 80GB Fujitsu PS3 hard drive that i took out for a bigger one. I wanted to use this as a usb storage music player for my car stereo and it works wonderfully. I only need the 1 usb plug (no need for extra power). If you intend to buy this enclosure for the same purpose as me, go ahead, it worked perfectly fine out of the box for me. I'm guessing if you use a bigger size hard drive (500GB+) you might need the extra usb plug for more power? So keep that in mind.If you use it for extra storage on a PC/laptop, it's a cheap, functional enclosure, go for it! |

Can't complain with this product for the price paid. It does the job I needed to and making my old laptop HD re-usable. Some pricier ones may be much better but not necessary when all I need is to backup my files. |

these things come in handy more often than you'd think. an old broken hard drive stuck in a computer that won't boot, toss it in here and retrieve all your data off it and you're good to go |

Bout it for an old laptop drive and it works fine. The build quality could be better. Tried like crazy to get it to screw in properly and still the screw did not line up correctly. Whatever it was 10$. Would have been very dissapointed had i paid the full price. |

I had a couple of 80 gig 2.5 sata drives I just wanted to put into use as portable drives I could take with me out of town. I like to listen to music and watch a movie now and then, so this did the job and the price was right. seems to be solid enough for toting around and it has nice finish to it and it's compact in size so it's easy pack it up when I want. Would buy again if needed.
