Cons: the light weight means the cables can kind of tip it over sometimes - not a biggy

Pros: small, runs pretty cool, works as it should
Comment:
I've bought a few of these for work, they really do the trick for those offices way down at the end of the building that suddenly need to add a machine or three. Cheaper (and much easier) than laying more cable!

Pros: A great cheap way to bundle networks together
Comment:
Has all you need for a normal home network, 8 or more would be for stores. Even 5 is good for offices. No issues with switch. TP-Link is a good trusted brand. Usually on sale for under $20

Had this for about a year. Never had any problems with it or slowdowns. Hits gigabit speeds and I've never had to power-cycle it or anything like that. Got it on sale so can't go wrong for the price.

Great little switch - handy if you have a gigabit network and need to add a few more devices to it. Works great, have not had any issues with it so far. None of my older TP-Link switches have given me problems in the past.

I have 2, one in my office and another by the TV. Great little switch that does what it should. Wait for them to go on sale which around $13-15 or if you need the 8 port one, they normally go on sale for around $23 I believe.

Cons: no ethernet cable included

Pros: cheap, gigabit, runs cool
Comment:
Great buy when you get it for well under $20. And its gigabit so you cant complain about speed. My only complaint is that it doesn't come with a cable like most other switches but I guess that's okay since the cost is so low.

Comment:
It is a very basic switch that does exactly what it is suppose to do. When I benchmark its local transfer speed, I get very close to its 1 Gbps rating. Very easy to set up! Just plug in your Ethernet cords and away you go!

Cons: None to think of, within the price range

Pros: Inexpensive
Comment:
Not a great deal to add here to what others have said. I needed to expand my daughters home network beyond what the router would support, so I used this. It just did the job, and continues to do so. A basic Gigabit switch, as advertised, nothing less, nothing more, but at a very affordable price.

Cons: Colour choices would be nice. Light are very bright. Could use a dimmer switch.

Pros: Basic 5 port hub. not much to say here. Works as described. No problems worked as soon as plugged in.
Comment:
This is a basic 5port hub. I have all my 34 TB of NAS drives running through it. I ran 6 PC's all playing movies from my NAS. No glitches or waiting. I have noticed some bandwidth dragging as far as the internet (YT videos stalling.) but not with the internal network since plugging this hub in. It may not have anything to do with the hub though.

Comment:
This is a basic network switch. It has no management and no extra features. It is also priced to match and very affordable. I have several of these where I did not want to make cable runs back to my router for each device. Great in an entertainment centre for Blu-Ray, game console, smart TV, and receiver all on one cable. Don't forget that you can only add 4 devices/cables as one port is needed for the incoming network cable.

Cons: no different color of LEDs to differentiate 100mbps and 1000mbps connected devices.

Pros: plug and play, just plug to an existing router to get additional gigabit ports.
Comment:
A nice cheap switch for home network, it just works and i haven't had any issue with it whatsoever.

Cons: Plastic casing (they have a aluminium version if you want to pay more)Unmanaged

Pros: No set-up required (plug and play)Gigabit (1000) speed availableCost effective
Comment:
Not really a complaint on the product because I knew it was unmanaged, but I couldn't get the gigabit speed to work on my particular set-up because the main hub was only 10/100 so the auto-negotiation protocol only recognized 100. Was hoping to have gigabit transfer speed between computers connected to switch.

Cons: I usually have my switches hung high so the power cord is a bit short.

Pros: Has Gigabit speed, plug and play right of the bat
Comment:
This is the first gigabit switch I ever had and I am impressed with the speed between my main computer and HTPC. File transfers are fast and smooth. No need to manually transfer if you're in a hurry.

Pros: - dirt cheap- simple to use- compact & stylish?
Comment:
I am extremely impressed with this product. I bought it because I have more PCs than LAN outlets on the third floor of my house and the WiFi signal is iffy as my wireless router is in the garage. You simply plug your internet connection into slot 5, and then plug in up to 4 PCs into slots 1-4 -- and they just work -- No configuration or software was required! Computers that were previously connected via wireless even retained their original internal IP addresses, which was a nice bonus because I had ports forwarded on my router for running gaming servers etc. This product did everything better than I had hoped. I strongly recommend it.

love it when a product works straight out of the box. No need to read instructions. Just plug it in and voila! The only thing is it's bigger than most switches I've had but then again this is a gigabit switch with 5 ports. So far works great

Cons: Casing looks a little cheap, but it's a switch, so who cares!

Pros: Great Price, Fast, no issues, black generic appearance.
Comment:
Good price at $15 for a gigabit unmanaged switch. Everything runs quick and smooth once plugged in. Running multiple computers being access by RDP. Has a no-nonsense design, just a generic black box. Love the idea of the power saving features, but don't really care how well that works :p.Only complaint is the casing looks a bit cheap, but $15, who cares! Just don't drop  it!
