Cons: The size is rather large. But most of these high end type routers are... Having no issues with it though.

Pros: Got on sale with free shipping, and for the price I got it for, it is a great router! Having dual band is awesome for splitting up light load works. As well as the USB slots for some spare extra storage. Wireless signal is rather good as well at this price. Has a couple mounting holes for mounting onto a wall to keep out of reach of pets, and other things.Setup was also easy to do!
Comment:
If you're looking for an affordable wireless router that will work great, and split work loads between streaming, or simple browsing, this is the router to get for you. Wait for the router to go on sale though, and better yet, have free shipping along with it.

Cons: Lower than expected speeds, but good for the pricetag. 5GhZ signal strength seems a bit low.

Pros: Decent Signal strength, dd-wrt compatible, low price
Comment:
Purchased to replace and aging WRT54G, the signal isn't as good as the WRT54G's was, but with the N network the overall speeds went up a bit, plus gives access to the 5GhZ network so that a few of my devices can be off of the crowded 2.5GhZ spectrum.

Pros: Excellent signal strength. Looks good.Wifi allows you to bridge to another WiFi Network expanding the distance your network covers. It Does it on both the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. Plus it works great as a single WiFi router.
Comment:
Overall very pleased with this router.

Pros: Great price, easy to set up
Comment:
This is a very good router for the price. I installed it in less than 10 minutes with the CD given. Dual band speeds are great within the entire house. Firmware update  took 5 minutes to find and installation of that was effortless.

Cons: -Does not function properly out of the box.-The original firmware has a serious security hole: http://sekurak.pl/tp-link-httptftp-backdoor/

Pros: - Works like a charm if you can get it to...- OpenWrt compatible.- 2 USB ports that can be used for NAS and print server purposes.
Comment:
The only way I could get this thing working properly is to put in a custom firmware. To be exact; OpenWrt - Barrier Breaker r35604. I tried all the firmware upgrades from the manufacturer but they are useless. In short, it's not a product a can recommend to a friend unless he/she is a top-notch geek who can do some magic.P.S.: If you are going to put in a custom firmware do a hard reset (30/30/30) beforehand. Cons: Relatively unknown brand (I think!)

Pros: Speed, reliable connection
Comment:
Bought this in conjuction with a TP-Link 450Mbps PCIe card. I'm able to connect to through a wall 30ft with full bars on the 5Ghz band. Throughput is limited only by my NAS connection (wired at 100Mbps) and internet speed test gives me the same results as if I'm plugged directly into the cable modem (45Mbps).Previously, I hadn't been able to connect at over 25Mbps with an older Asus N router, and the Rogers-supplied modem/router. I think the 5.0Ghz band has less interference as I live in a condo.

Cons: Spontaneously completely drops 2.4 GHz band requiring reboot or toggling physical wireless switch

Pros: Super cheap for a dual-band, lots of features including 2 usb ports
Comment:
What can you do with a router than drops connection? It's junk. I guess you get what you pay for.

Cons: Nothing signficant. Has been on for a month with 0 issues.Annoying: MAC addresses must use - separator rather than :

Pros: TP-Link website has emulator so you can examine the features.Good value on sale.
Comment:
I decided to try this unit primarily because 1. there is a physical switch to turn wireless features on/off. I use wireless less than 10% of the time so this is a simple security and energy saving feature. 2. it's easy to set up reserved IP addresses.

Cons: A nightmare to get working, flakes out regularly.

Pros: Gigabit tranfers 120ish MB/s between comps. Wireless range is more than enough for a 3 floor house and in the 50'x120' yard.
Comment:
Paired with a speedtouch 516 upgraded from an old still working DI604 to this. After 3 days of drops resetting and firmware updates I got up this morning and I actually still had a connection. It does have some problems be it firmware or whatever and I won't recommend it.

Cons: not very good customer support

Pros: easy to set upworked well
Comment:
I purchased this unit to replace an older router. It works well and was not hard to set up and hook in my newer laptops. However I did have difficulties with an older laptop and did not receive any help assistance from their customer service department. It was only through talking to a computer friend of mine (in England) that I was able to resolve the problem.
