Cons: -Cable management? not much :(-A bit too "flimsy" for my taste, but it wasn't for a gaming PC so it works fine.

Pros: -Cheap-Work as intended
Comment:
Got it for cheap (in sale) for a basic desktop, it does its job without much noise. But, "cable management"??? WHERE? I haven't seen anything managing the cables. Oh well, at least, the cables are long enough.

Cons: PSU defective after 2 months

Pros: Box and PSU looks good
Comment:
Originally bought another PSU but it was out of stock so got this one instead. Decent price after rebate. After 2 months, my computer shutdown while I was using it. Replaced my Thermaltake PSU with another PSU and my computer is running again.Don't think I will buy another Thermaltake PSU for a while.

Cons: Not 80 plus certifiedNoisy

Pros: Cheap price when on sale
Comment:
Bought this for $19.99 when on sale. Be careful as there are at least 3 different versions of this product made, and this one is NOT the lastest version (TR-600P) that is 80 Plus Bronze certified. Noise level from the PSU fan is loud, but comparable to the previous PSU that died...and would not recommend for HTPC setups.

Cons: Coil whine

Pros: Long cables, inexpensive
Comment:
I bought one of these a month ago and had to have it replaced twice, once from loud coil whine, and once from a loud grinding/jarring fan at high speed. I'm on my third PSU and this one has coil whine too. I'm sure it's a decent PSU if you can find one with no defects, but I'm fed up. I don't think I'll be buying any more Thermaltake PSUs...

Cons: cable a little short

Pros: For the price you can't go wrong, does not make too much noise, enough connection for a 6+6 video card.
Comment:
Works as expected, not silent but low noise. Power seems stable, cable mostly not sleeved but for the price you pay, you can't go wrong.

Cons: starts giving noise i 5 weeksa little flaw in the design (i think)

Pros: cheap cheap cheap
Comment:
only reason why i picked this up was it was on sale and cheap, and i wanted a spare just in caseput it in a new R4 case and ran it for a few weeks, started giving some noise after about 5 weeks, opened up the psu, and there's a piece of clear plastic covering 1/2 of the fan, held in by 2 screws at the fan mount holes. It's flapping at the fan or the internal components causing all these noise.Looking at how this is positioned, they probably put it in to direct the air flow for better efficiency.I removed it from the fan and used it to block 1/2 of the outlet to redirect the airflow, since then, no more noise from the psu. I did void the warranty opening it up, but I won't be shipping it for rma considering the shipping price for psu, and it would have came back with the same noise problem.

Cons: NOT the new TR2 "series", these are the old ones that are just rebranded poor quality lower wattage powersupplies.

Pros: Cheap for a 600W... if it WAS a true 600W
Comment:
I don't know what Thermaltake was thinking. I thought this was the new TR2 "series" that are getting good reviews. Nope, this is their old series that have had many failures. Turns out the ACTUAL model number is TR-600, and the new one you actually want is TR-600P, You can see the actual model in the fine print on the box and on the powersupply itself.I suppose I should have taken the lack of 80 Plus certification a hint (the new ones do have it), but I'm not letting Thermaltake off the hook on this one. Confusing model numbers, dishonest labeling, and a poor performer regardless of rating, nets this a 1 star (or 0 stars if that was possible)

Pros: lots of power long cables

Outstanding PSU. Cable length is never going to be a problem. I put this in a ATX case and managed to run cables all the way to the opposite corner without needing to run the cables over the mobo.

Cons: Cable management ? You have to be kidding me, right ?

Pros: Cheap. Black
Comment:
So okay, I've owned other TR2 series power supply before, and they work great. But his one says "Cable Management"... They probably mean by that long cable length, which it has. But do not confuse "cable management" and "modular cables"...

Cons: False advertising on packaging claiming it is modular WHEN IT IS NOT.Not even sleeved!

Pros: Good Price for 600W PSU.Fits in a BitFenix Prodigy no problem.
Comment:
If you want a modular PSU then look elsewhere. Despite what it says on the packaging this is NOT a modular PSU at all. ALL of the wires are hard wired. Thermaltake did not even SLEEVE the PSU.However that is purely for looks and in a case it does not matter that much. That is something that you can do yourselves if so desired. The Power supply itself does what it is supposed to do. No "80 Plus" rating whatsoever though so watch out for this. Not a quality PSU but one that will do in a pinch until you get a good one.

Cons: extended time for breaker reset.

Pros: works well for high speed business purposes
Comment:
I have noticed some buyers have indicated their unit had failed, which indeed may be the case. However, the unit comes with overcurrent, and direct short protection...e.g a circuit breaker. I had the blue screen of death and turned the computer off at the power supply, which tripped the breaker. It took 48 hours for the breaker to reset, which is rather long.

Cons: VERY LITTLE CABLE SHIELDING. SEEMS LIGHT FOR A 600 WATT PSU. NOT GREEN RATED.

Pros: NICE BLACK FINISH.PRICE WAS AMAZING IMHO FOR A BRANDED 600 WATT PSU.5 YEAR WARRANTY.
Comment:
I AM USING THIS PSU TO POWER AN AMD BE 955 WITH AN ATI 6850 VIDEO CARD, NO POWER ISSUES AT ALL SO FAR.WTH DOES "CABLE MANAGEMENT OPTIMIZED" MEAN EXACTLY? (SEE BELOW) IF LACK OF CABLE SHIELDING THEN YUP THE CABLES ARE THIN FOR EASY ROUTING AND PLACEMENT. NOT GREEN RATED.NO WIRE TIES INCLUDED TO HELP WITH CABLE PLACEMENT, SO AGAIN WTH DOES "CABLE MANAGEMENT OPTIMIZED" MEAN?(SEE BELOW)BOUGHT THIS TO REPLACE A POWERCOLOR P.O.S. PG-600 THAT MAKES A 9000HZ NOISE WHEN NOT POWERED UP. ALREADY RMA'D FIRST ONE AND SECOND ONE DOES THE SAME THING.NOTE:CABLE MANAGEMENT MEANS 17% LONGER CABLES FYI

Cons: -False Advertising.-Lack of 80 plus.-Almost all cables are not sleeved.

Pros: -Nice Long Cables.-Quality Packaging.
Comment:
I purchased this power supply for the fact that is stated it had "modular" cable managment, whitch is suppose to mean removable cables, I was dead wrong in my research (the lack of photos of the product wasn't a big help). The cables are nice and long, and unsleeved. If it wasn't for the false advertising I could live with it and give it 2 stars, but they lied on the box and online so that just is not acceptable.

Pros: brand600w
Comment:
at that time, that was the cheapest 600w psu i can found without mir, even its not 80 plus and mod, but running quiet and good.600w is good enough to support sli/cf.its used for my 6 core build, 6870 video card, i think it should be fine if i add another 6870 for cf later.
