I've had mine for 6 months and I still use it all the time, I bought it originally for watching Blu-Ray's, which it is awesome. I reccomend Band of Brothers and the Bourne Trilogy for crazy sweet surround sound. Then i started using it for online gaming like Modern Warfare 2 and Battlefield. You can hear guys trying to sneak up behind you, Tritton has saved my kills to death ratio, lol. Great product, not as fragile as people were saying, don't throw the head set when you get fragged I guess.

Cons: little big but not big deal.

Pros: Great sound, good mic, easily hooks up to Windows 7 64-bit.

prolly one of the best "bang for your buck" headsets out there, I've bought a lot of different headsets and this one is great. Logitech ain't got nothing on this beast. I wanted a little bit higher end Tritton but they were out of stock, so I got these, I don't regret it either.

First off, the only thing I am critical of on these headphones is the fact that they can be heard by other people around you if the volume is not real low, but keep in mind that is due to the excellent sound quality being produced by the various drivers in each earcup. Now the great news. This headset is perfect for mid-high quality gaming. Mic gives great results in vent and ts, especially if you know how to configure it. The sound is rich, full, and robust without distortion. Quality of construction is clear when you pick these up, and when you wear them for 3 or more hours. But remember they are not built to take a beating, treat them like you want them to last forever and they will be the last headset you ever own.

It is definitely a surround sound experience. The headset is hefty, but fits comfortably. You might find, if you are wearing glasses, that the headset interferes, but it is tolerable. Volume control is hefty, tie clip is fragile. Good sound, but the volume controls can catch on clothing and move on their own. Audio software special features can be finicky. All in all, a good buy.

Great surround sound in 5.1. In each ear there's 4 speakers working their magic, you'll be satisfied. Movies put you in a spiral of glory! Gaming on your computer pulls you in. You'll want to turn your head when something you think is coming up behind you. When actually all the reality is coming from your head phones.

I bought this for my wife who is an avid gamer on AION and she said it the best headset ever. Super easy to install basically plug and go. Light weight and the switch she presses so she can talk to people in the room and not the internet is great. Would recommend to all.

the software is confusing at times, very comfortable and sounds fantastic, only downside ive encountered is some of my games block the ability to control the master volume from the inline cable, otherwise best headset ive ever owned.

The headset itself is awesome with alot of features. The only downside ive had with this is the mic stop functioning after awhile, other than that a worthy purchase.

Cons: Software does not work on Windows 7! (Freezes my comp when I try to run)Not as comfortable as I'd hopedMic sometimes comes loose

Pros: USB - No sound card neededLong Cord2 sets of ear cups (leather and felt)Funky-lookingRemovable MicIn-line sound control"Virtual Surround Sound"

Decent headset. Unfortunately has some flaws. While I tend to have trouble finding headphones that won't hurt my ears, these are about average in the comfort department, I get sore ears after about 3 hours of wearing them.Good sound but I can't run any of the demo or adjustment software, you'd think by this time they'd have a Windows 7 driver for these.Bass control is nice, removable mic is nice (though occasionally the mic will pop out) 3/5, I'd give it 4/5 if it had working Windows 7 software.

These made a HUGE difference vs my (now retired) Creative Fatality headset. Sound is pretty impressive you really have to spend the time to adjust to your liking. Headest is on the heavy side, but nothing to go and break your neck. The ear padding could be a little softer but I guess over time this should happen with continuous use. Overall is really isnt that bad.

Cons: Had to play with Levels a bit to get the mic to sound just right to my friends - Also the units do seem to get a little warm. They're tight to begin with but loosening up.

Pros: Very Adjustable sound dynamics - Ability to adjust all the fronts, center, surround and sub level with the little controller close at hand. Very good and immersive sound, for music and especially for games when set up properly with 5.1
Comment:
I would most definitly purchase this unit again - Wether you get this version (USB) or the analog version (mini plugs to go into sound card front, surround, center / rear.) you've got a few cables to manage . . . So I don't think thinking you'll just have 'one usb cable' to plug in should sway you - Get what you feel most comfortable with.Of course if you go USB - you're getting a tru digital audio out - where as if you go analog you rely on the sound processors in your sound card - which even on the x-fis are cheap and don't compare to a USB Dac.Very Nice units! Very great price!
