Cons: Fan clips are a PITA, but secure once they are on. Also too tall in a Antec 900 case to add the 120mm door fan.

Pros: Does what it needs to
Comment:
Using this on a I7 920 at 4.0. Using two Scythe S-Flex SFF21F 1600rpm fans in a push-pull configuration. Temps are around 70c under load. It would be nice if the heatsink was a bit lower to clear the door fan on the case. This review was modfied by poster @ 01-20-10 01:49 AM

Cons: block ram slot with fans (on my mobo)

Pros: Really well built, keep the cpu cool
Comment:
I bought this to replace my old HDT S-1283 and I'm really happy of the performance. This is keeping my cpu cores under 50 degrees on load while my s-1283 was at 56-57. The more your temps was high the more you will see the diference. At 3.7 ghz 1.55vcore my cpu was doing 56 with s-1283, my true:49-50.At 3.9ghz vcore 1.65 computer would not ever load with s-1283, the true 53 degrees...

Cons: None that I could find, excellent heatsink

Pros: Very solid mounting system, great finish.
Comment:
I was wanting to move from watercooling my CPU to a solid aircooling unit. I had a Xigmatek 120mm HDT cooler, which wasn't too bad. I had my I7 920 C0 running 4.1Ghz(Hyperthreading off) on air with it, with a Delta 120CFM 120mm fan. With the fan full speed, it was hitting 69-70C. And when I would turn the fan speed down, it would hit 75C. Wasn't quite acceptable to me. I did more research, and thanks to some good reviews(HWC) I read that HDT coolers tend to fall behind a bit from the old kings, thermalright extreme etc when hitting high clocks and higher volts. The extra heatpipes etc disapate the heat better. I have this heatsink with 2 of the 120CFM 120mm Delta fans, the speed is turned down, and it hits a maximum of 65C where my other cooler was hitting 75C. Very happy, and would recommend to anyone. Cons: ++PriceNot really a weakness cause quality cost money but with a separate fan you are looking at an extra cost for the budget minded folks out there.

Pros: ++Excellent shipping++Mounting system++Single Fan PerformanceEasy to install and the product looks great.I Strapped a S-Flex 1900 RPM fan plus fan controller and its quiet. i7 920 D0 at 3.6Ghz 1.2v HT on I idle around 38c and full load about 69c.

Cons: bottom not completely flatdoes not come with fan

Pros: great looksone of the best air coolersnickle plated
Comment:
the TRUE extreme has been at the top of the air cooler list for quite some time. This rev C is the 'improved' version with the V cut in the middle of the fins as well. With the whole heatsink nickle plated its freaken hot. Great item to pick up

Cons: no fanweighthard to install with an IFX-10

Pros: very good performance with oc processor in burn and idleblack paintbundle
Comment:
This is the best heatsink i have never tested. With my Phenom II X4 955 BE oc to 3.6Ghz, I did not exceed 45 degrees in burn in game or with occt test (15 minute)Just higly recommanded, better than noctua NH-U12P
