Plugged my power supply in and it showed me all I needed to know. Nice and easy to see if it was my power supply that was bad, or something else. I will use this baby a lot.

I had a computer that was not working, but didn't know if it was the motherboard or the power supply. I didn't want to spend money on another motherboard without knowing if the power supply was defective, so this device was perfect. I checked all of the power supply's connections, it was very simple with this tester, and they were all good. I still had to buy a new motherboard, but I knew for sure that this was the problem and not the power supply. This is a very useful tool for troubleshooting and highly recommended.

I haven't used the unit yet, but it appears to be a simple tester for voltages provided by the power supply. Nicely packaged.

Exactly as intended. This product will indeed tell you of any failed voltage rails on a powersupply.... much faster than any voltmeter. If you work on computers this is a must have no-brainer.

Simple to use. Tests voltage only, so don't think this will explain all the problems you might have, but, it works great if you need to know if there is power to a system.

You get what you pay for and for $14 I can understand why this item was on sale. The quality of the received unit was pathetic. When I squeezed the unit just enough so that I could plug in a PSU cord the entire thing lit up. I repeated the process and noticed that any pressure at all in certain places would cause all of the LEDs to light up. Over that it kept saying that I had no -5v on known good power supply units. Unless you're a modder and you want this just to see how they are made, then STAY AWAY. Spend 10 extra dollars and get something more reliable. PLEASE.

I was ready to dump my wife's computer after it quit. A routine check of power supply and bad connections, hard drive swap etc had no results. So it sat there until I saw an add for this gadget and I thought this would be handy and quick. It showed that my power supply was missing the PG signal, which occurs after all the voltages check out. My voltages checked out OK but the PG (power good) chip was bad. Saved me Hundreds!

it's got lights and connectors for lots of different connectors from various power supplies and seems to work well. i've only used it on a couple of supplies and it's reported correctly. the thing i'm not too sure about and the chin-glish manual is not very clear on is whether this thing is actually putting a load on the supply or just testing the voltage levels. it says it's rated at max 1000w supply so i'm assuming that it's loading the supply and it can only load up to 1000w but still not sure cause you would generate some heat pretty quickly getting up to 300w and above if it were loading supplies to their limits. i've seen supplies that show correct voltages but once loaded down they drop out. other than this loading thing it's a simple way to tell you if the supply has all of it's voltages on various connectors.
