I used this cable to extend my laptop to a docking station which is hooked up to my lcd tv. I wanted to carry the audio and video via the USB to the docking staion and then to my HDTV that was located across the room. The cable is very good quality but there was a delay in the audio video response with the cable this long. This was a problem with my application and not the cable. When used as a cable dedicated to one component it worked fine.
