I was originally going to get this monitor, http://www.ncix.com/detail/samsung-s24d390hl-23-6in-widescreen-pls-f7-95913-1165.htm. But it got off sale soon, I was disappointed and settled for this one, and it was probably the better move. Aside from the less-prestigious brandname, and less interesting design (the glass-like blue trim and stand got me), this one has a much high contrast ratio, good response time (not like anyone's going to the notice the difference, 6ms is as good as 1ms to me). The speakers aren't the best, even paired with my rather good soundcard, but what do you expect from something less than an inch thick? |

Decent monitor for the price. Has an Ips panel, and built-in speakers makes it easy to hook up a console if that's your thing. However the stand is really terrible. Like as I'm typing this review I can see the monitor wiggle as a result of my typing.
