none that I can tell - Doesn't work for information on my Moto Q smartphone- Doesn't operate for charging my wife's Palm Pre I bought two of these with my order, and neither 1 of them worked for my smartphone data or to charge my wife's Palm Pre. I don't think these phones need some sort of secret, specific usb cable. This cable's ends match into the laptop and into the devices, yet neither data nor energy flowed. How tough could it be to make a cable? You have wires and you connect them to the ends, GRRRR! Wasted income on this, not actually worth the time and power to return. PITA

Bought it as a travel charger for my LG dare, performs just as nicely as the stock cable that came with the phone. The telephone says it "does not advocate working with this cable" when I plug it in but I'd bet it's since it's not an official LG product and they want to squeeze every single penny they can out of you. None

I read on the forums somewhere that a guy purchased this and his EVO kicks into automobile dock mode. Possibly not what he wanted but Best for me. I plug this into the USB in my car or truck and my EVO 'knows' it is in the auto and opens all my vehicle apps and settings.. as well cool (instead of acquiring ุ vehicle dock) Could not work well for other devicesPuts your evo in vehicle dock / panel mode which might not be what you want (you can disable the auto vehicle dock mode even though).I assume a pin is grounded (Ţ?) and that is what tells evo to go in vehicle dock mode - may possibly not be very good point for other devices.

Thick cable as opposed to a lot of flimsy feeling cables you typically find. Charges Samsung Captivate (Galaxy S, see con). The plastic around the micro USB connector unnecessarily huge. It does not let appropriate connection to the Samsung Captivate (Galaxy S). The outcome is that the USB cable will fall out of the telephone shortly immediately after connecting it. I bought this cable because the other cable of equivalent length I saw on NewEgg had a overview stating it didn't operate with the Captivate. Count this a single out as effectively.
