This is just a simple device that just works. When i saw my new cellphone used this mini-usb connection i wasn't looking forward to adding even more cables to what is already lying around all over the house. The best part of getting one of these instead of a whole cable is not having another 4 feet of cable in the house. |

Bought a few of these. Turned a few of those old camera/mp3 player/etc. cables into spare smartphone chargers. Because of the small size, this is able to charge my Galaxy SII without having to remove the aftermarket rubber protector, whereas the OEM cable is too large. Regular price is a little steep (but membership has it's privileges:) |

Bought it mainly to charge my Samsung mobile on my PC's USB port. Although the current of the mobile's charger is rated a little higher than USB port's 500mA, it still gets the job done. Maybe take a little longer, that's all. |

Most cell phone now come with the micro-b USB port. This adapter allow "us" to connect the "extra" battery boosting packs to be usable as they usually come with mini-b connections. |

I bought this to connect a portable USB battery pack directly to my Archos 5 Internet Tablet. It connects directly onto the USB Mini-B plug on the battery pack and then directly into the Archos without the clutter of a cable. It works as it should, although I would prefer if it was a bit shorter. To connect a USB Mini-B cable or connector to a Micro-B device this works perfectly. |

Some devices that were being used at work starting coming with micro USB cables instead of the mini ones that I was used to. This was purchased to convert them to a micro cable and it works as expected. The best thing is that I don't need to have 2 sets of cables, just 1 mini cable and this useful adapter. It had to be painted/marked as not to lose track of it. A great solution to my problem. |

For LG cell phone. Phone only came with one usb -micro cable & 120V house to usb plug & nothing for car. I had a car 12v to usb adapter & was going to get a usb - micro cable to charge in car, but in looking found this adapter to use one of the usb-mini cables I had around (for cost of $3). Used with AC adapter that has a micro end changing it to mini USB. Works well, good tight fit on the micro end. Have used it without any problems. This adds about an inch to the length of the micro end adapter.
