Cons:
a bit expensive
Pros: Quieter than many air coolers, easy installation, 2 year warranty, unique display on processor block, very decent cooling performance, easy to install second fan for push/pull |
I installed this in my machine with a Noctua NF-P12 pulling and the stock Vantage fan pushing.I have my i7 930 OC'd at 4.05GHz (193*21) idle is 38-43c, full load is 73-77c running intelburn for 5+ hours. I had overclocked to 4.2GHz and the temps peaked at 80c - not bad at all. These temps are with the Vantage's stock thermal interface material.Some reviews mention the volume of this fan at 2500rpm, I have not had the fan reach those rpms. The highest was 2150 - and the volume was noticeably higher, but not as loud as some reviews make it sound.
