It appears cool inside and out. My video card fit. This case is extremely cheaply made. A lot of people have stated this and its accurate. The tool much less clips are junk I broke two just trying to match my hard drive in. Also can\'t use the pci clips mainly because it doesnt let you to put a bigger card in. The entire frame is made out of this actually thin inexpensive metal. Really sharp as well. I bent the whole case moving the pieces of metal for the motherboard. It's not a wonderful case it functions, but go with some thing else you will only be disappointed if you purchase it.

-Wonderful building. Case is strong for its weight. Men and women have negatively reviewed the "flimsi-ness" of this case ahead of, but what do you expect for a mid-tower under 15 pounds.-Great ventilation. Case moves air about better than a 747. Lots of room inside for elements to breathe.-Lighting appears fantastic. Soft red glow doesn't overpower or look ridiculous. -PCI tool-absolutely free clips. These "clips" wouldn't even hold a Creative Xi-Fi sound card in place. Confident your cards will seat, but won't be secure. Don't even get me began on my XFX 5770 video card. Also, there is just about ZERO space to get rid of the clips and get a screwdriver in there to use a screw instead.-Only other gripe is that the power and reset buttons are a tiny bit on the affordable side. It's sad that such a excellent case gets ruined by the PCI card slot clips. It was the only purpose I didn't give it five eggs. On the other hand, the five.25" bay clips and the HDD bay clips operate superbly. Nonetheless a good purchase if you don't thoughts your cards getting a bit wobbly.

Anything looked great at 1st...- The price tag...- Images on the web... Roughly three months in, the 230cm top-fan starts clashing with 'invisible' plastic that I've since attempted to repair.Eventually, I gave up, and since stuck an ethernet jack inbetween the fan so it ceases to spin generating an particularly loud cackling noise. The 230cm Fan is irreplaceable, as numerous customers have stated, it can really only be bought thru Thermal-Take's site-- sold no where else due to the fact it's not regular.- this SUCKS... and the fan's failure on it's own possibly sucks the most.- I do not recommend this case. It will be subsequent to impossible to SLI any jumbo 200뤨/ or 500 series Nvidia cards. Light-weight, far more than enough space for your average board and new video cards, amazing drive mount program, fans are certainly ultra-quiet. both sides and the front of the case come off very easily when you need them. the metal mesh-like covering appears a tiny... frail, i was afraid of permanently warping the front and sides of my case just carrying it, the power provide mount being on the bottom is good, but obtaining the fan sucking air from the bottom of the case makes me really feel like i'll be cleaning the dust filter out weekly. the opposite side of the case can come off for what appears to be cable management. but its not executed extremely well. nevertheless nice though

Lots of fans equal excellent cooling. Spacious, easy to handle cables, lots of space to function around in. Lovely searching case. Lightweight, simple to carry around. I/O plate as well difficult to remove, I required a dremel to cut it off. Screwless function is a joke. The plastic locking mechanism broke off as well very easily. NO case speaker. I'm a large overclocker. How am i suppose to know what the error message is if I cant hear the post beeps? Constantly like hearing that 1 beep to make sure it's booting up properly.

Outstanding cooling. Fans are truly quiet. Cool lights. Some built-in motherboard standoffs. Lots of drive bays. Outstanding fan places to cool down the rig. Case metal on the back is truly thin. Be cautious when popping out the backplane and card slots. You could easily bend the metal. Also, be confident you take away the appropriate cover for the card slot when installing a graphics card or other cards. As soon as removed, you can't put it back. The tool free card slot holders are a piece of junk. I removed it and applied screws. Ditto with the tool free of charge drive assembly. The drive could nevertheless move so I tossed them and utilized screws instead. I like neat installs, but there are not sufficient spots about the case to zip tie the loose wires to. The fans that came with the case do not have speed controllers. So I replaced them with ones that do. Looked cool in the images and looked like a decent worth. But soon after finding it and assembling my rig, I don't assume it's worth the dollars. Why blue light about the energy button and red fan lights? Ought to be all the similar color (blue). There are screw holes and an opening that look like you can set up a different case fan just beneath the spot on the motherboard where the CPU will sit. Cool thought, however, where can you uncover a fan that is thin sufficient to match there? Also, the side panel on that side of the case does not match the picture on the box. So, there are no vents on the side panel that will line up with the fan anyway ... assuming that you can discover a fan in the initially location. I bought a V8 CPU cooler. That thing is so huge that I had to take away the 200 mm side panel fan so that I could close the case. Replaced it with a 120 mm fan mounted to the vent holes. Doesn't appear quite good, but I nevertheless wanted a fan on the side. Would have been good if there have been screw holes that would permit such an set up. Overall, decent case. Just not worth the money.

Tons of five.25" bays and 3.five" bays internal. Awesome cooling but nonetheless extremely quiet. Easy access to board and expansion boards The tool-significantly less style for the really hard drives are type of weak compared to other case manufacturers. I received a case with 2 of the six tool-significantly less challenging drive devices broken. The rear 120mm fan is incredibly weak as nicely. Received case with a broken fan in it. Thermaltake wants to have a re-style on the tool-less device holders. They are incredibly weak and must be stronger. Roomy. USB and speaker plugs on top for simple access, lots of slots to place items. Awful plastic locking program that barely functions for installing challenging drives. The mesh/metal covers in the front are hard to get rid of without having bending them so make certain you KNOW you're placing anything in there. I've had mine six months and the side fan and top fan have started smacking into their plastic housings (not wires, i checked) so badly that I've had to unplug both. Attempts to adjust the fans have failed. Gets a bit too dusty inside. Overall...I'd pass. It also bugs me that the energy button is back lit blue while anything else is back lit red...but that may well just be me.

A decent case with a very good quantity of space for the average pc enthusiast. Overall air flow is great, imo. Plenty of fans and all are very quiet as effectively. Uncomplicated access to both side panels with nice thumb screws on the back for removing the panels without having the need to have of tools. Good red LEDs and front panel. Primary side panel has a 200mm fan mounted on the inside. This sounds good but here is my main gripe. I bought a CORSAIR H50-1 Liquid CPU Cooler and had it all mounted and my case prepared to be closed up. The dilemma is that the fan on the side panal gets in the way and hits the CPU coolers radiator, not enabling you to close the case. The only way about this is to take off the fan, which I did. This was the second CPU cooler that I bought that hit the side panel fan. The other cooler was the SpinQ by Thermaltake. I took this one particular back since of this. The 200mm prime fan just broke on me out of nowhere too. I have had this case for only about 5 months. I powered on the other day and the top rated fan actually just flew apart, into about six pieces, that then rained down onto all the internals of my pc. Luckly practically nothing else broke. This really should not occur to a five month old case, specially to the fan I have the least access to. Cable management is horrid on this case. You have to essentially cut by means of these metal tabs in order to run any cables to the compartment behind the mobo. I loved this case when I very first got it. It's a nice seeking case but that doesn't make up for poor fan excellent and terrible cable management. If you strategy on creating with this case and don't program on ever opening it up and altering issues, then perhaps this will perform for you. If you upgrade a lot, save your self the hassle. I want I could have provided a better overview but this is my story.

Runs with super low noise output and keeps my personal computer nice and cool. The screw less design and style sucks. Both the pci screw significantly less device and these twisty plugs are just bad style. I am not a fan of chintzy plastic pieces holding valuable components in place. Lots of area inside for an oversized power supply, also has a fan grill beneath the PS with a filter. This is 1 of the only decent situations you can come across tat has four 5.25" bays plus two 3.five" bays, plus upper and side fan grills. Having the interior drive bays at 90-degrees tends to make for easier drive installation. Read the evaluations about the 250mm fans, initial issue I did was eliminate them given that there's plenty of space to install a smaller, regular size fan of your selecting. The tooless drive grips are okay, but they only grip on one particular side, leaving the drives somewhat wobbly. Neglect about the rear PCI / PCIe brackets, they won't hold your cards securely. I got rid of that suitable away and went with old fahioned screws right after a bracket entirely slipped out when it was supposedly locked in.And the side panels - less costly Thermaltake instances have superior fitting side panels, these are stiff and hard to align. There's also an interior fan reduce-out where the CPU would be on the MB, appears like you can set up an 80mm fan on the rear side of the MB plate to blow on the CPU. On the other hand, there's only about 10mm involving where that fan would be and the side panel, very good luck acquiring an 80mm fan that is that thin - most are 20 to 25mm thick. Also no real wiring help inside, nowhere to route your spaghetti. Overpriced. Should be half the price simply because of the shoddy design and style. My choices were restricted in wanting 4 five.25" bays plus two three.5" bays - otherwise there are several a lot far better cases out there, I'd pass this one particular by.

Appears fantastic, light, very cool running, uncomplicated to access panels, roomy and effortless to perform in, fantastic wiring routing possibilities, good capacity for drives, nice leading-side USB and sound jacks accessibility. Adore the huge side fan and all the ventillation. Top rated fan blades are mounted as well close to case structures and started to hit and grind, loud noise. Effortless fix: Gently remove the prime screen over the fan. Take a sharp chizel and shave off the four parallel plastic spines that sit on best of the base of the frame exactly where the fan is mounted (and serve no purpose) - found on the left and appropriate sides. Gentle pressure on the chizel = obstruction gone. Also, the rubber edge protectors that hold you from cutting your hands fall off very easily; just glue them. The PCI screwless devices leave the PCI cards a bit floppy, but otherwise secure; use screws if you want. Inserting and removing hard drives and opticals is straightforward with screwless mechanism - after you figure out how to use them; look at the directions printed on the red plastic devices. Metal is a bit thin, but then it sits in 1 spot and is not carted around. And the thin material rediced weight for when it does have to be moved. Makes side panels straightforward to function with.

Excellent size for components, a lot of space for cable management (providing cables are long adequate), mainly screwless design functions effectively even though see cons beneath. All round this is a great case (would favor the potential to pick color of fans at buy). I don't know what thermaltake was thinking but they created the I/O panel spot as well hard to remove, it bent the frame around it taking it out which made it very hard to put in the I/O panel for a motherboard. Screwless is not total, nevertheless want them for floppy type drives or multimedia panels. Really hard drives go in backwards forcing you to get rid of the other side panel to get to the difficult drive plugs. This is not a total con as it does a great job of managing cables but it actually is inconvenient if you mess about inside your case a lot. Case is nice but does seem a tiny on the flimsy side.Rather have a green or blue led front fan than the red, my keyboard and mouse are blue led my mushkin energy provide has a green led fan so I plan on putting a green led 120mm front case fan in. There is a vent on the bottom of the case even so if you have carpet floors or anything other than difficult flat surface, it is virtually worthless. My powersupply fan has to be installed face down to It would be nice if Thermaltake would make the feet less complicated to remove if you want to put in roller feet or replace feet. There is a vent on the bottom of the case on the other hand if you have carpet floors or anything other than challenging flat surface, it is nearly worthless. My powersupply fan has to be installed face down towards the vent which does practically nothing for air flow, might even be poor for the powersupply I have.

NONE I purchased this pondering it would be a lot more quiet than my case ahead of. Took me forever to move all my Pc components from one particular case to this a single....The style on this thing is horrible, not adequate thought went into it.1. The internal three.five" bays are fundamentally useless. I place my sata drive in there but it isn't in a position to go far back sufficient to plug up the sata energy cord and SATA information cable and place the side back on.two. You will have an extremly really hard time trying to get some video cards to fig. I have a dual slot video card that wouldn't match mainly because of the bracket on the card... I had to break a small piece of plastic off of the case to get it to match correctly.three. Loud buzzing from fans.DO NOT Purchase I didn't acquire this from newegg. I picked it up at a retail retailer that everyone knows.... I had a present card to the shop.I want to replace it already... it's a piece of junk.

Quite good airflow from the four fans constructed in.Comparatively quite. The original I/O shield was extremely challenging to take away. Removing it truly warped the area around it, and it took some work to get it back into excellent shape. This also caused installing the motherboard's I/O shield rather challenging, as the hole was not quite the right shape. Excellent case.It would be nice if the I/O shield and expansion card slot covers were simpler to remove.

-Good hunting case-Nice ventilation-Straightforward to access front filter-Good painted interior-fairly lightweight -The 230mm in the leading is prone to failure. Had 2 fans in a year. The initially lasted 3 months. Had Thermaltake RMA the fan andthe second failed three weeks ago.-Case prone to flexing-The toolless mechanism for the challenging drives are weak and prone to breakage-The tool much less pci slots are difficult to use and get in theway when placing my Radeon 4850-No CPU cutaway-Interior space is cramped, the case should be longer to support newer and larger GPU's.- No a lot of possibilities for cable routing. The specs are excellent but the reliability in the long run is poor. You have to be very cautious when handling this case. This is a case you ought to stay away from, there are much better selections for the price, even for Thermaltake.

The case looks excellent. The fans are big and placed for a great airflow. Some of the posts for the motherboard are currently on the case and not necessary to screw some in. The side mount for HDDs is great. My case especially shouldn't have passed high quality assurance. It came with a mangled top USB port, and the metal felt exceptionally flimsy and was bending. My back plate also didn't match into the designated area devoid of retooling it with pliars. In addition the toolless hold for the pci slots is very weak and i took it off and secured my parts. Did the same for my really hard drive. 1 of the fans that came with it is creating a whining sound. 'Probably wouldn't advise this case to individuals if some of my troubles are persistent in other ones besides mine. Additionally I only got this case due to the fact it came with the combo

Haven't had nearly as much challenge as some of the other far more damaging evaluations here. It's nice and black.. LED appears really cool, I want they would have produced the power/fan LED in front the similar color (right now it's red for fan blue for power). It shops all my components fine. It's fairly roomy for a mid-tower, and the fans spin pretty quickly devoid of being as well loud. The back 120mm fan has seriously good airflow. Properly I like the blackness of the case, but at times it's a bit difficult to see inside.Thermaltake genuinely should have just kept to screw-in PCI slots. My GTX 260 wouldn't match in the case with the tool-much less design and style and it took me all morning to figure out that removing it merely involved unscrewing two screws in the back.Every single boot up the fans seem to spin actually rapid (and sort of loud) for 10 seconds, then everything's fine and it's quite significantly silent. The 230mm fans don't look to have a lot of airflow. The back 120mm pushes air far greater IMO. There was no space for the side 230mm fan immediately after I put in a Scythe Mugen two, but I remedied that by placing the fan on the outside of the case as an alternative - you slide the wire via a PCI slot. Make sure you don't have kids/pets in your residence initially! Otherwise get a fan guard.

Very good searching case. I adore the fans. A lot quieter than my old Dell with only a single fan. Lots of room. I didn't care considerably for the tool less card slots. I wound up removing the tool significantly less piece and utilizing a screw to secure my graphics card. Tool less holders are just so-so. I used screws in addition to safe my cards and drives. The only other problem I had was the power switch would stick. Each and every time I bumped the case, my computer would shut down. I removed the switch, filed away some plastic and now almost everything is functioning fine. That and the front panel popped off during my installation and smacked me appropriate in the face. That was my fault but beware if you attempt to tilt the front of the case up, make confident you don't pull on the front cover. This is my 1st make and my initial case. I enjoy Thermaltake goods and I genuinely adore this case. Plus I got a rebate when I purchased it.
