Cons: * Secondary SATA connector is too short..

Pros: * Very quite* Good Air flow design.
Comment:
I bought this one to build my HTPC case. The fans inside them are so quite, I thought they were not running at all. My only concern is the SATA cable length. It has one sata cable with 2 connectors in it. They are designed with stacked SATA drives in mind. If you have side by side drives (non-tower cases), you will have problem with connecting 2nd drive with the 2nd connector. I only have one SATA drive so I am fine for now. But I will probably hate this PSU when I add my second drive.

Cons: SATA power connector

Pros: Quiet, solid build
Comment:
Very quiet unit, well built.I noticed when I was putting one of the sides back on to the computer case that the SATA power connector from one of the hard drives was dangling. The top of the connector had broken off and, although I assume it's my fault, I truly don't remember doing anything that would have caused this.

Cons: Low efficiency

Pros: Good all-around PSU for the price
Comment:
A decent power supply *for the price* ($15 after MIR). As noted by Hardware Secrets (link above), this is an old design that is really a 350 W power supply. Efficiency, which I measured using my Kill-A-Watt meter, is relatively low. However, if you are aware of the limitations of this PSU, it's excellent value.

Cons: Only 2 SATA connectors, SATA connectors too close together,

Pros: cheap, lots of cables, almost completely silent, PCIe and dual 4pin atx connectors
Comment:
Good cheap PSU, especially after MIR. Much better than any generic. Needed a replacement unit for a customers rig, and this fig the budget very well. 5 years warranty is a nice touch as well.

Cons: none at all.

Pros: Cheap, durable, quiet
Comment:
I bought at least 3 of those power supplies, some years ago, and my own is functioning almost 24/7, and it has never failed, even with three hard drives, two DVD burners, and my sound blaster Live! Drive.

Cons: -not modular-efficiency (~65%)

Pros: price at time of purchase
Comment:
I bought this to power up a low power system. I had a few extra PSUs around but none had the 24 pin motherboard connection. This PSU works, and that is all I really needed it for.

Cons: none so far

Pros: brand, price, variety of connectors, quiet
Comment:
I think this is the 2nd or 3rd Thermaltake-branded PSU that I've owned. Never had a problem with older PSUs of this brand that I've purchased in the past. It may not be one of the best brands out there, but certainly nowhere near the worst either. An affordable solution for those looking for a replacement or back-up. (Was on surprise special for $25 after MIR; good deal if MIR works out)Would definitely consider purchasing another Thermaltake brand PSU again in the future.

I have owned this power supply for 9 months now and it's still doing a great job. I use it to power my Athlon x2 5200 2.8ghz processor, EVGA 9800GT, 3 hard drives and it does not have any problems at all!

Cons: Could use more SATA connectors

Pros: Quiet and simple.
Comment:
For a power supply that's as inexpensive as this, it does the job. The fact that it is relatively silent means that it works well for an HTPC setup. You cannot go wrong with this power supply or brand name.I just wish that there were more SATA power connectors.

Cons: none so far

Pros: Affordable, lots of connectors
Comment:
For a 430w power supply, this little thing is capable enough. It has the connector for 20/24 pin ATX motherboards, so it's a great replacement for old/dead PSUs at a price that still is very decent for thermaltake quality. I've got it hooked on an AMD 6000+ with 5 hard drives and a DVD drive, and it's plenty enough, and it has enough connectors so it doesn't need extra splitters for that many drives. While it's not adapted for gaming, it's great for a home made server.

Comment:
Decent power supply that I bought to replace a stock one in an HP machine to run my video card. Works well and is cheap. Definately not for any high end machines though. Runs very quietly can't hear it at all. Gold grill at the back seems a bit tacky but you never see it anyways.

Cons: limited power

Pros: low price, low noise
Comment:
I would not use it in a gaming machine, limited power but enough for a workstation and to surf the internet. I also play a few games (nfs prostreet) with a 7300gt.
