I can ultimately run my 8800 Ultra's in SLI mode without having the system shutting down. My Antec 850 Quattro wouldn't handle the load even though it never ever got more than 650W!Runs quiet.Modular.A lot of cables. Cables a bit short. When you're talking about a 1200W PS, you really should expect a big case so the cables need to be lengthy!I don't get the 8pin to 6pin pci-e adapters? They appear cheesy. Why not have the final two pins snap off? Of course, without having the adapters the pci-e cables would have been too brief! The 1st factor I would like to say about this issue is that it is "AWESOME", I know that It functions and it operates fantastic.I got this 1 to replace a 700w thermaltake toughpower that was two years old (and still operating BTW). almost everything it say's it does, it does well. initial a single was DOA, contacted newegg and they took care of me. cudos newegg. So i guess thats not a con. if you get anything from a shop and it's no fantastic than you return it for a replacement. you drive there and back. If you get it off the net you should expect the very same only longer, I have had a couple of factors come in terrible but i will by no means blame NE they often take care of it nomatter what the prob some occasions. I'm putting this in the cons becouse some persons need to understand often points occur and there is nothing at all you can do about it, nevertheless with newegg in my experiance they are excellant at what they do. I got this for a upgrade for my computer, I went from 1 asus 3870 512mb video cart to 2 sapphire 4890's (the 2 gig ones) and now I am going to transfer into my new rig that will be right here currently. current rig: asus rog maximus formula x38 se(with the watercooled N+Southbridge) 2x250 seagate sata 2x320 seagate sata the 2x sapphire 4890ʂg each 8g coarsair dominator ram. asus sata dvd burner and a pioneer dvd burner in a coolermaster 830 case. my new make is going to be in in a couple hours asus rampageIIextreme w/rog oc controller intell x25ssd i7 920 coolermaster v10 and ocz 6gb tri channel with windows 7 all in a coolermaster haf 923 case. Life Is Fantastic. I will add my respective thoughts on my new goods as they prove themselvs (or not) but I cant blame NE for one thing beyond there control. Happy buying at NE. And thank you newegg.

1200W sustained, 1300W peakCable management - no messUltra quietRuns at low temps None I applied to have a 850W PSU but it just wasn't adequate juice for my rig. It crashed, locked up and did all kinda random items. Immediately after sliding this sucker in, almost everything is rock stable. I am incredibly picky about personal computer noise and believe what these persons say, the fan on it is silent. Also like this guy mentioned, don't attempt to get higher end parts and get a low-cost PSU with it. Energy Provide is really critical for all of the components. Don't get low-cost PSU and 2xGTX285's, get this and 2xGTX260's or whatever. I was dumb and didn't assume PSU's mattered substantially as long as they were high wattage. Excellent and efficiency in PSU matters additional than something, and Thermaltake generally delivers on each.

I had to RMA this soon after a year bring about it stopped delivering power (my fault I consider). I sent it back to Thermaltake and within the same week I got a absolutely new PSU with all new cords. I was very impressed. Great solution, great business. None.

A lot of power, nice modular design. Looks, feels, runs like a good quality item must. This solution is hardcore power and it does not need to have sissy led lights to sell. Also this PSU is up to 87% effective at normal load. Its big, so do your research 1st, to make certain it will fit. It fit's nicely into my Antec 900. (not genuinely a con but I had to place a thing here) Im running two 9600 GT's, 2 dvd drives, an all in 1 drive a 350 gig harddrive lots of fans, Intel e8400 processor. Additional energy than I require, but who knows what the future brings.

Modular - only use the cords you will need = significantly less clutterQuietRange of connectorsRock steady voltages None - the value is what it is. Don't commit this much unless you need to have it. This is an costly PSU but it supplies significantly for a energy hungry rig like gamers like to create. It has never offered me any difficulty and I run a Quad core - ƒ) 8800 Ultra SLI configuration with three Really hard Drives and two DVD/RW.I also have 5 case fans.

I love the modular cable setup. It keeps my case clean searching, and nevertheless keeps very good airflow. I'm running a Q6600, 8GB DDR2, 8800 GTX OC, 4 HDs, and two Optical drives, and it runs like a champ. The couple of occasions I had to pull my RAM mainly because I got a couple undesirable sticks, it had an quick discahrge. I didn't have to unplug it, then hit the power button for the PSU to dump its last burst of energy (still had to wait for the MoBo though). The large fan on the PSU cools it excellent, and is quiet. If you have a Mid-Tower... don't even bother looking at this provide. You want a lengthy tower or a full. This is the energy riggers dream PSU.

Tough energy ... yes, that is right... Wouldn't energy up following shutdown, the power button flashes as soon as and that is it till I get rid of the energy cord for 1 minute and plug it in get, Im an international purchaser, i RMA'ed it and costed me 200$ for the RMA only, they returned it to me with the same dilemma, and they told me that they tested it, I contacted them once again, they told me to RMA it again, their customer support is responsible and the will rma anything for limitless time, but that if you can wait and wait and spend 200$ per RMA, but they've got very good consumer assistance, and my issue is Im in another nation so... hmmm... I study about this challenge a lot of time in this forum, so it is a frequent dilemma with this energy provide, also I can't edit anything in the bios of my motherboard, and I read that one of the customers is possessing the extremely same difficulty, and he solved it by replacing the powersupply, so if everyone have any yet another Thought about this issues, share your info with us please.

It does have good alternatives with the interchangeable cords for the supply, so you only use up the space required for what u want cord smart. Also yes it is a beast powersupply and produces insane amounts of energy for your pc. This power provide RUNS Extremely HOT. You should have a WATERCOOLING or insanely great air circulation program setup or this will overheat or lower your overclock skills severely. I seasoned this first hand. So make certain you require this significantly power and that you have the cooling program to assistance it. You genuinely don't need this item unless you are running a server or quad core with dual video cards.

Exceptional specs on box. Modular cabling system is a dream. Didn't nuke my board when it imploded. The spare cable bag is cool too, no a lot more rummaging through drawers hunting for the string of sata energy connectors. Like other folks right here, this beast gave up below the load of my rig right after 8 months. Also it is a small pricey. The original receipt was lost and I got the standard response from Thermaltake's warranty division, that is that I "could acquire another and rma the defective one with the new proof of obtain." Brilliant Answer guys, let me fork over one more 踈! I don't propose this if you are constructing a beast of a machine as it doesn't like 'spikey' energy demands, oh or if you like talking to robots in the manufacturer's service division. Have it in my Thermaltake Mozart TX case, and its my third Thermaltake PSU. Their build quality is outstanding. Just purchase it!

1200W of energy, plenty of cables to do precisely what I required, cool running, quiet. This power supply does precisely what I required it to do energy ten HDD, Water Cooling, NVIDIA 8800, OC INTEL Extreme 3.45 and by no means flinched Till........ a single day I required to shut down my technique, then pushed the power button to come back on and only this nice blue flash from my case lights and that was it. Tried perhaps 20 occasions a lot more absolutely nothing, tried to jump pins 13 and 14 better outcomes but practically nothing. Attempted new mother board (跁.00) and nothing. Got an RMA from thermaltake sent it back but had to get a thing for in in between out 500.00 to get this all corrected. Ok how could I give it four stars when it worked it was the cats meow. Didnt buy it from Newegg mainly because someone else had it for 289.00, this was a national chain but some thing says this was a re-wrap and was in all probability faulty from the start out. Like every person says NEWEGG is the ideal

Detachable Energy wires, well constructed. Quiet. Just with my luck it died right after three days, I just shut the compter down, the following day pc would not power back up, after troubleshooting every thing but the PSU I lastly connected it to a bench tester, and it nonetheless would not energy back up at all. I retuned it for a pc energy and cooling because this PSU was on backorder.
