Cons: Not found yet

Pros: Great Colors and 1080p at 60fps

This is my first projector and I cannot tell how happy I am with it, It is such a good investment. I was thinking of buying a tv but this is just way better if you have some space. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.I have nvidia SLI surround setup with three monitors and connected this projector as the 4th display. I have not tried 3D yet but I am sure it is pretty good. Ordered two 3D glasses off ebay for 20 dollars each instead of using the benq ones. I am currently projecting on my wall and i am pretty satisfied, I might get a ply for mounting it on the wall.

Cons: Needs dark room, no downward angle adjustment, some rainbowing, over-saturation

Pros: Color, clarity, resolution, weight, brightness in dark room, low latency
Comment:
This is a great little projector for the money and is the first projector I've owned. I don't have a screen yet so this is my impression when projected onto a white wall.My first impression in a dark room was wow! This little guy can really blast a bright and brilliant picture. However, the room needs to be very dark. Even with my blinds closed during the day I could barely make out the picture, and if a scene was dark I couldn't see anything. Mind you my room is very bright even with the blinds closed, so you may not have this problem. Either way I plan to buy some blackout curtains. The projected image size is perfect for my room, projecting an image between 90 and 100" diagonal at roughly 9 feet. It fills my viewing wall perfectly. Very happy with that. The image is actually much larger than I was expecting, and the zoom controls offer a good amount of control over how big the projected image is.The lens shift is a nice feature, but it doesn't help nearly enough to be of much use unfortunately. I have the projector mounted on a shelf behind my sofa, and it simply cannot physically be pointed low enough that I have to prop it up on a book. Really disappointed that there simply isn't any way to point the projector down. It's clearly designed to sit on a table and point upwards at a wall (or perhaps upsidedown downwards from a ceiling). So propped on a book it is.As such I had to use some digital keystoning to get the image square, but was pleased that (at least when Sharpness is set to 0) the digital keystoning is very good and barely noticeable, even when showing my computer desktop (text remains very readable and not overly distorted). There is some rainbowing when looking around a scene (which you will do, because it's like looking at a theatre screen), but is usually only noticeable on very bright elements of the scene. The color is extremely vibrant--too much so in fact. And a downside is there doesn't seem to be any color saturation control. Well let me correct that: there *is* a Color control, but it's permanently disabled. Perhaps awaiting a firmware update?? Either way I've never seen it enabled on any mode (I'm connecting over HDMI as you would expect). There is some lower-level fine-tuning, however, but it operates on a per-channel basis (R,G,B,C,M,Y).One more thing: the input latency is very small (~20ms according to a review I read) which means it's great for gaming too.Overall I'm very happy with this projector, though, and it sure beats watching movies on a 55" TV (which I thought was pretty awesome at the time).

Cons: cannot update  firmware, smell, no mercury warning- that i saw about bulb exploding? noise, and light escape, oval shape image projected?, placement compared to lcd, no maximum on time till shut down, ships with vga cable. Image seems a little sun like (has some darker areas)- or is that dlp constantly mirroring the color- creates halo effect only when reading text have i even noticed it and it not even bothersome actually i like it- gives my eyes a break).

Pros: price, color saturation just wow, size, black level performance, I also love the lamps smart eco mode just wonderful, and benq Gamma is my choice. Easy to open and plug and play. Vertical adjustment. no dead pixels. Nice description of the format being received in the top right corner aka 1080p 60fps when switched to that port.
Comment:
Pros: Price--- yes I have owned a panasonic Ae4000u 2000$ projector and thought this thing could not stand a chance, and to my amazement did it not only stand a chance its picture somehow look sharper and cleaner. Gave it 5 stars based on price/features ratio. Note I do not recommend spending more than you have to? Black level performance as according to me(i can see the details(especially when i increase brightness when I have to via software/hardware once configured correctly). Cons:does not seem to have any useful firmware updating capabilities.#1 no mercury warning- that I saw about bulb exploding? like on my lcd it stated if bulb explodes leave room immediately since it contains a toxic mercury gas? smelled sort of like burning plastic when I first used it - and it states not to have it near fire detector i guess its for that reason? It is not everything i wished for, I wanted it to have a maximum on time menu option aka 8-10 hours and then it shuts down but it does not?Yes noise is in pros and cons because it is noisy only sometimes but I guess it needs to cool itself down but come on it sounds like a small vaccum cleaner at times. at top of my screen the image sags like a oval. Why does it ships with a vga cable who uses that now adays anyways could save 10$ off the price no?

Cons: 3D glasses are extra, 3D is a little darker presentation than 3D, Sometimes I see 1 second of image pixeling and color flickering when a new source signal is locked onto.

Pros: Bright, great contrast, nice 3D, lots of input choice.
Comment:
Using this projector on a Da-Lite 120" screen and love the results. It's very bright and great contrast for the room. I ordered it with 4 pairs of the BenQ 3D glasses as well and this is a great 3D presentation for movies and games! 3D content is a little darker image, but still bright enough to really enjoy. The internal fans are not too loud and I'm running in high altitude mode. Great for all the sources I've tested through it so far (360, PS3, XBMC, Sat).

Cons: Requires 144Hz glasses so not compatible with all DLP-Link 3D glasses

Pros: Cheap and great picture quality
Comment:
Great picture quality, fan isn't too loud, 3D is great if the movie is great, bright enough, all of that at a low price. I couldn't be any more pleased with my choice of projector. Champagne on a beer budget!

Cons: Audible noise, but it's not bad at all. Will build an enclosure to mask it.No included 3D glasses, but needs 144hz ones so stick to BenQ recommended ones. But those are expensive, and apparently the 3D is "ok, but not great" anyway by some early reviews.

Pros: Incredible 2DSmooth motionDecent black levels projected on a white wall, should be better on a dedicated screen.Very Bright
Comment:
First off, thanks NCIX. This is the second time I ordered something from you and it came in without any issues. One minor shipping issue : I think it was silly that Canada post website bothered to tell me when it would arrive, because I stayed home from work to receive this and only noticed at noon that the mail guy hadn't even bothered to buzz me. Apparently that's a "thing" at Canada post, they lazily pre-write up all the notices and don't do their job properly. So if you order it, just go to work and wait for the slip in your mailbox, then pick it up next day yourself at the post office. Not a huge deal, actually it works out better so you won't need to miss any work like I did. Anyway, it wasn't damaged or anything, and didn't cost anything to ship, so that's better than shipping it via Fedex or UPS to the office and carrying it home. It's not heavy anyway. On to the review : The image is GREAT. Especially for the deal I got. I regret not ordering the BenQ glasses when they were on special for 70$ at the same time, because apparently you need to use 144hz compatible glasses for this, since they are 24p x 3 x 2 = 144hz. Triple strobed. Which means it should be really smooth (and uses "red flash" instead of "white flash", which is a good thing, apparently). But, the 3D, while decent, is not as wow-factor as other more expensive units, and the glasses are expensive, like 70-100 each, but not the most expensive. Anyway, I'll order a couple before trying out other brands. Check AVS forum for recommended / compatible units as other people are trying out various brands to see which ones work at all, or better. But aside from that, the 2D is great on this. Highly recommended. By it now. It's better than 3k units from years past, and does full 1080p. The motion is incredibly smooth. No rainbow effect that I can see. And I'm very picky. I'm going to build a S-I-L-V-E-R DIY screen for cheap to get the best contrast and black levels out of this. So far, it looks great projected on my white wall. But always room for improvement. 5 / 5, especially for the cost. Buy it now.

I love this projector! For under $1000.00 it does 1080p and 3D. I'm so glad I chose this over a TV. I just have it displaying on the wall. Plus it is portable, I can take it around, just need a plug for power and a wall to display on. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a good home theater display. Everything looks amazing. I've also plugged in my Samsung Galaxy S3, it displays everything crystal clear.
