Cons: Had to reboot this thing more often than any other wireless router i had before.

Pros: Works sometimes.
Comment:
I only used this router for just over 2 months and i was quite happy to get rid of it.I had trouble with the old D-Link routers before but that one was the worst. It took way to much re-booting to keep it connected to the internet.I think i am done with D-Link.

Cons: No problems yet!

Pros: Works great for me - faster and more responsive than a ~4 year old DLink router. Great value for your money!
Comment:
This is a fantastic value router. The range is decent (perfect in my small apartment), although if my place was bigger I'd probably look into something with a better/bigger signal. No problems using this with a PC, ethernet laser printer, VOIP adapter, Xbox 360 (wired) and PS3 (over wireless), as well as three different laptops, two from Dell and one from Apple.

Cons: Crashes a lot

Pros: Pretty good signal
Comment:
This router is fine for the average user but if you plan to use it for things such as your PS3 or Xbox 360 you should stay away from this router as it crashes a lot (I always had the latest firmware installed).

Cons: - Range: has issues transmitting a signal to a computer a room away (low connectivity); two rooms -> forget it.- Connection issues: the connection is lost, frequently with the modem (not the modem's fault) -> wired or wireless

Pros: When it works, it does the trick.

I suggested to my g/f to buy this one as we've run D-Links (currently DI-624) at my house for years with no issues. What a mistake. Firstly, I didn't do my research to find that many people have had issues with this router. So when we get it home, set it up and it immediately reboots, I began to loose faith. I reinstalled the firmware (then upgraded), and it seems to work for a while. Then about a week later I get a call saying it's not connecting (neither the computer hard wired to it nor the wireless one). So I reinstall again. Long story short, this has gone on for a year and I've had enough. I'm buying her a Linksys WRT54GL tomorrow. This review was modfied by poster @ 04-30-08 04:13 PM

I got this for my new laptop and my DS and it works perfectly. My DS can play wifi and I take my laptop all over my townhouse, even the garage and it still works!! Full connection. This I recommend if you live in townhouse.

Cons: Drops signal occasionally.

Pros: Good Range and power of signal. Easy to use firmware. Easy setup.
Comment:
I got this router given to me by a friend when he bought a new one. I was previously using a 2 year old d-link router which did its job but only when sitting right next to the router itself. If I went in my room (20 feet away) it would slow down substantially. With this router, I am able to be in my room and still get the same signal as I had right next to this router. As a comparison, this router got 5400 kbps on speedtest for wireless and the old one got 2000 kbps. Overall good router. Pros outweigh cons.

Cons: none so far

Pros: Have same or better internet connection then my previous d-link router. Wifi is giving my psp bowser shaw extreme speeds.
Comment:
easy to setup if you download newest firmware first then install during setup. Looks a whole lot nicer then the old d-links. have not experienced a single loss of connection/speed probably due to the firmware upgrade.

Cons: -installation cd is useless

Pros: -great range-relatively easy to setup
Comment:
I bought this to replace my 3 year old D-link DL-514 wireless router because it's starting to show it's age by giving me some wireless connection problems. This router is not as easy to setup as my previous router due to the fact that doing what the installation cd said made the installation more difficult than it should. Just set it up like my old router and everything runs fine. The wireless signal and range is very good, and there doesn't seem to show any signs of disconnectivity like my old router did, well, so far.

Cons: No weaknesses

Pros: Great connection/range * Great firewall * Nice look * Can enable WPA encryption
Comment:
I have a D-Link DI-524 router, which served it's purpose. It never died on me, it did not give me any troubles with losing connections. The WPA encryption did not work with the D-Link DI-524, I believe it was an issue with the router itself, as I was reading around and came across inormation stating that the WPA encryption had issues. I just purchased a D-Link Rangebooster WBR-2310 and I am loving it! it does indeed support WPA encryption and the firewall on it is much more advanced compared to the basic firewall the DI-524 has. I feel more secure with it. I have the DWL-G510 Wireless PCI Adapter in another computer running wireless and it supports the WPA encryption! The signal that the DI-524 was giving where the computer with the wireless card is stationed, would go no higher than LOW. When I installed the Rangebooster, the card is getting it's full potential. The signal reads VERY GOOD. That is a big imporvement and I am happy with it! This review was modfied by poster @ 02-27-07 02:08 PM

Cons: Reboots every 20 minutes

Pros: Easy to set up (20 minutes)Wireless works as fast as an ethernet cableGreat signal strength...even works when I'm in the basement
Comment:
This thing worked great for 3 months then it took a dump. It now reboots every 20 minutes. Google "WBR-2310" and "reboots" and you'll see D-Link has a real problem with this router. Run away. Oh, ignore the "stars"...the review page is rigged so you can't give less than 3...pretty cheezy NCIX. I give this turd and D-Link's crap service a "0".
