For those wondering, yes, these can be used to replace macbook pro's hard drives. my cousin's macbook pro's drive failed, and i grabbed these at about 38$. no problems so far. |

I work in the IT industry and I've replaced 5 of these specific drives in the last 6 months. DON'T BUY ONE!This drives are typically used in HP laptops. If you have an HP laptop, check and see what you have inside.You will not get any warning of it's impending failure. Just one day the drive won't be recognized, you may hear 'the click of death' and you'll lose all your data.If you have one, back up frequently. |

I was looking to expand on the storage space on my xbox 360 and found that it was not necessary to purchase the xbox elite in order to get 250gb worth of storage space. My reason to get the larger hard drive was mainly to reduce the amount of noise the xbox was producing. And the addition of the hard drive has successfully done so. |

This is my 3rd or 4th WD Blue HDD, all of them run quiet, cool, fast and reliable. WD is the best HDD manufacturer in my books. Have yet to have a problem and I've owned over half a dozen of them. Highly recommended to use as a portable HDD (paired with an enclosure, laptop replacement, or for a PS3. |
