this keyboard advertised that it is cut and paste featured. it is not! you can set up your computer to leave the feature in your menu bar, but there is no such keys on this keyboard, as there are on full featured, wired keyboards. I also installed an on-off switch on this keyboard to save the batteries. I do not know why anyone would build a wireless keyboard without a switch?

I'm writing this review with this keyboard and after three days with it all is well. Typing is a little cramped but not unbearable (think small laptop). The trackball is amazing with excellent sensitivity right out of the box. There is literally no setup involved. Take the keyboard out of the box, put the batteries in, plug in the USB dongle, and away you go. The only con is that it really is only designed for Windows Media Center. Not a bad thing if you like Win MC but for Boxee or XBMC not having media controls can be somewhat frustrating. Just means more trackball time. Would be nice if there was some sort of configuration software to setup button macros, but all in all this is an excellent keyboard for the money. Had to move the USB dongle onto an extender to get optimal performance and the blue LED can be a little annoying at night but a little piece of black tape took care of that. Again, great value for the budget builder.

I bought this largely based on others reviews, and have not been disappointed! Works great from about 30 feet across the room using Vista! Takes getting used to the track ball on one side and the click buttons on the other, but only a few minutes to feel comfortable with it. As usual, shipping and receipt from you was great - fastest shipping on the web!

Wireless keyboards are great to have. This one performs a little less smoothly than expected, for the price. I use a Logitech trackball on all of my computers, laptop and desktop, so the trackball on this one seems stiff, by comparison. Also, the trackball being on the top of one side, while the mouse buttons are on the top of the other side makes it a bit cumbersome. I still will make almost all my electronic purchases from your company. I have done so for 11 years, and I'm not dissapointed yet.

I got this keyboard for my girlfriend for Christmas to use with her netbook. She and my step daughters love it. The only semi complaint was having to hit a connect key everytime the computer came up. Otherwise all three of them love it.

GOOD: Plugged it into a HTPC running Kubuntu 9.10 with XBMC and it just worked. Trackball works great and the location of the mouse buttons makes two handed operation feel natural. Volume buttons and media navigation also worked out of the box. Well priced compared to other wireless keyboards. BAD: The wireless connection times out pretty quick. And you can't just press the reset button the bottom of the keyboard. You have to press the reset button on the usb adapter, then the reset button on the keyboard. Basically ruins the ability to use it for a HTPC. Other people have suggested you can just click the left mouse button and it will reconnect - that did not work for me. EDIT (1/2/10): Died after just over a month. Keyboard won't connect with the adapter. Tried on multiple machines and tried replacing the batteries - just doesn't work. Contacting the manufacturer for a replacement/refund. :(

I use my flat screen tv as a monitor and wanted a way to surf and control the media player wirelessly. The ONLY gripe I have about this is the reset button, it could be a little shorter. I accidently press it once and a great while when grabbing the keyboard off the couch or table. Its a learning curve I'm getting around. I was thinking of trying to take it apart and shorten it but have not yet.

Plugged in, worked right away. Stopped working next day. Turns out I bumped the reset button on the bottom of the keyboard. Stupid place to put it, I accidentally pressed it many times over last few weeks. Very nice keyboard otherwise. Mouse Ball is a little hard to use since it moves the cursor a little to far and fast when zeroing in on something small.

The keyboard works just fine. The only issue I have is that none of the speed keys work. The live tv, my music, my video... etc keys. Came in a plain brown box with no manual or software. Everything else works fine for my HTPC.

I have to say I really like this. I didnt have very high expectations for a keyboard and trackball in one. I expected it to be cumbersome but its really not. I dont like the fact that the track ball is on the right and the mouse keys on the left but it is user friendly. The usb dongle works great and I have been using this product for months now and have not had any problems. Highly recommend.

This thing is awesome. Having the keyboard and mouse in one package is great. I have 3 computers hooked up to the TV and stereo and being able to sit back on the couch and surf the internet, play music, movies on the computer without having to get up is great. It has indentations for your legs so the keyboard sits comfortably on you. The multimedia keys don't seem to work the greatest (the volume keys don't work for the right thing it seems), but I've only used it for a couple of days quickly, so I have to do some more testing still. I'm just happy with how the mouse tracks and being able to sit down and surf. It has power save and to turn it back on, just click the mouse button and it starts working again. Also, the ability to just unplug the USB receiver and plug into another computer makes it so I can control any of my 3 computers while using the TV as my monitor!

If you're looking for a plug'n'play wireless keyboard with a built-in mouse for your Home Theater rig, look no further. This thing delivers what it promises. Works as advertised with the 2 laptops I tried it on (connected to 26" Samsung HD monitor that I use for a TV in the bedroom). Connection was a snap to XP Home, 7 RC, and Vista Premium 64.

You have to get used to it at first. The keys are smaller on Tab, Enter and other keys you're used to seeing in bigger sizes. Most keys are cluttered tightly. Be prepared to have extra batteries around (use lithium they last longer than alkaline). Even if you don't have Media Center you'll find uses for the shortcut keys. Just play around with them on your browser to find out what they do. Recommend that you save the plastic it comes in so that you can store it when not being used.

I was looking for a keyboard that does has an integrated mouse. I read a lot of reviews and this keyboard had mostly good ones. This is another good review. The mouse ball works very well. The only gripe I have is that you basically need line of sight between keyboard and USB receiver or else the mouse is sticky on the screen and it sometimes misses keys while typing. I don't imagine many products in this price range would be without that.

I bought this keyboard to use on my new Windows 7 pc which is displayed on my living room LCD tv. The setup was easy, just plug and play. Its working great with Windows 7. Its relatively small and great for moving around the room. The only thing i dont like about this is it will automatically shut itself off if no buttons are pressed within like 10 seconds. As soon as you push a button again, it will turn back on however that first button will not be recorded. So if you pause mid sentence, you'll find yourself backspacing a lot to add the letter at the beginning of the phrase. This is also very bad for gaming because of the same reason.

Great product, one of the longest ranges on a wireless keyboard I have used. Only negative, the windows media feature keys are non-programmable (at least as default) so they are not useful for any other use (ie: DVD players). Also, the reset button on the keyboard is in sort of a bad spot, tend to hit it accidentally, forcing you to get up and reset the unit from the PC. Overall though, great product, great price, excellent range, and great features.

I purchased this keyboard to replace a Microsoft IR Multimedia Keyboard. I am extremely pleased. As noted in other reviews, setup was a snap. As this keyboard uses RF, there are no line of site issues. The track ball is joy compared to the rubber nub of the MS board. I would definetly recommoned to a friend.

Bought the wireless keyboard for HTPC so I wouldn't need to move a KB and mouse around the living room. The action on the KB is fine and the media buttons work great with Windows Media Center. The trackball is sticky on the horizontal axis. If you use the KB & mouse for and office job from 8-5 this KB is NOT for you. For a light use HTPC it is fine.

The layout is a little strange but for Media Center keyboard it's no big deal. Don't expect this to be a replacement for general keyboarding. The track ball will turn off after a few minutes of inactivity to save on the battery. This will make you think something is wrong if you are not expecting it. Just hit any key and turns it back on. The keyboard has good weight and feel and is a bargain compared to other available choices. The range is quite good. This works well for a Media Center system.

You will pretty much hear the same from me that you see in other reviews...this keyboard works great. Very responsive and pretty much has everything you need to surf from the couch. But, there are a couple of things the manufacturer could improve on. For starters, the ''sync'' button on the bottom of the keyboard is too easy to accidentally press. You then have to get up and resync the keyboard with the receiver...not difficult but annoying. The other thing are the rubber feet. They almost immediately come off. Other than that this keyboard works great. For the price I still recommend it.

Found the product to work very easily. Using Windows Vista on laptop, plugged in the dongle and did not even have to press the buttons on dongle or keyboard, it just worked right away. Range is also excellent. The only issue with design I can see is that the right and left click buttons are all the way on the left side of the keyboard and the trackball is all the way on the right. A little awkward, but I suppose I will get used to this quickly.
