I've been using this piece for almost two years and love it. I recently found the option of using the 3d sound and tweaking some of the settings and it REALLY made it sound a lot better.Got it on sale for 30$ Definitely a steal. |

Cons: External cable required for some configurations

I purchased this sound card to supplement my media center PC (I found that it was having issues outputting true surround sound with only a single Micro-jack out). This sound card is doing a marvelous job. The sound is crystal clear and the multi-out worked perfectly with my surround sound system. I plan to purchase a Digital Audio cable at some point to test that out, I can't see the use of a different cable type affecting the quality of the audio output at all. I would definitely recommend this sound card to anyone who needs an off-board sound card. |

I had to buy a sound card because my onboard sound is a bit faulty. I didn't percieve any notable improvement in sound quality. I'm using an Edifier S330D. |
Windows 7 can not shut down after installed driver for this card. Downloaded the latest driver from Auzen website. but it did not solve the problem. Windows 7 can shutdown without any problem on the same computer if the driver software is removed. Tried it on a completely different computer also running Win 7, same problem. Never tested it on Windows XP. I finally gave up and bought another Asus sound card instead.
