Cons: Dead pixels. Benefits of 144hz virtually undetectable.

Pros: Nice stand.
Comment:
I bought this monitor and thankfully purchased it with the dead pixel warranty. Took it home - and what would you expect - there was a dead pixel. Returned it and exchanged it for another of the same model and to my surprise - another dead pixel. NCIX was really great though and took the monitor back for a full refund. Oddly enough the monitor that was on the floor display also had a dead pixel. BenQ's QA must be abysmal.TL;DR - GET THE DEAD PIXEL WARRANTY!

Cons: TN panel and not IPS

Pros: No issues.Metal handle.Viewing angles are great.3D works great.Color is great.I like the mouse scroll wheel thing.
Comment:
Only thing I wish this monitor had was an IPS panel but that would add a large amount of money to the original large price. Everything works great on the monitor. I use 3D for all my games. Hopefully they come out with a 4K version sometime in the future after more GPUs are released.

Cons: Very pricey even if this monitor is on sale, it costed $440 while I could get cheaper (slower) monitor for much less. Also this monitor's extra feature (headphone holder) sticks out from the behind and my monitor sits very close to my eye.

Pros: Amazing fast monitor. I can't really go back to using 60FPS screens anymore. Super fast response and no lag. I can notice it even when I just sorting out my files in Windows explorer.
Comment:
I have been using this monitor with displayport to mini displayport (thunderbolt) from my G75. [HDMI is just too slow for this monitor] This set up work just fine. I was expecting must worse quality in terms of colours since this is a TN panel. However, it seems like the colours aren't too bad compared to really bad 24" TN-panel monitor from LG.As for build quality, it is much much better than my old monitor that this replaces. This has metal construction for both base and stand which improves on structure integrity and reliability.

Cons: Price?

Pros: 144hz, nice stand, looks good
Comment:
I've used both this and the 27" 144hz Asus monitor, and prefer this one. Colors and motion seem a bit crisper, and the stand is quite a bit nicer as well. I'd love to get a 144hz screen with more than 1080p resolution though.

Cons: -Colors are not IPS quality but thats to be expected.-Really wish it was 1440p

Pros: -Surprisingly good color for a TN panel-144hz is amazing. -haven't even tried "blur reduction" yet but I don't see the need.
Comment:
I have hated gaming since the CRT days and now I almost feel comfortable enough to play 12 hours a day again like I'm back in highschool! lol Everything I do on this monitor feels buttery smooth as if I built a whole new PC. Its amazing the difference. All FPS games are easier to play and don't fatigue my eyes as badly as my old samsung 60 hz 23". I cant say enough good things. If I did buy again however I would wait for either IPS 120-144 hz or 1440p. If not both. 4k is still a couple years from being mainstram and probably 3-4 years from being 120-144 hz but I am more than happy until then now!

So perfect!! it is like a whole new world!! What am I saying!! It is a whole new world!!Actually I am reviewing a replacement monitor as the first one was defective and for the first couple of days I thought it was just bad video drivers, a possible bad video card, or a PSU that could not power my new 760 properly. The monitor would intermittently blank out when running above 120HZ which included running in 3d. It would be fine at 100 or 60hz. Thankfully NCIX replaced the monitor denying my effort to return both the video card and the monitor without losing 15% of my video card even though I argued the defect might have been the video card.I am now typing up this review using my new XL2720Z monitor and there has been no blackouts whatsoever!! The 3d was excellent and I tested a few games and I have both a PC and Mac connected to the monitor. Although I entered the 3d fad a little bit late and not many new games are made for 3d such as Watch Dogs, (I stand corrected in that fullscreen watchdogs now triggers 3d mode) I still look forward to playing some of the older games such as call of duty blackops, crysis 3, Tomb raider, need for speed shift etc. This whole adventure is about re-visiting some of the older game software in 3d. It will be at least another year until Oculus Rift comes out in full retail and the games may take another few more months after that. So for now, this is the best 3d experience. This monitor works as advertised!! great colours, exceptional details in both 2d and 3d especially at 144hz on regular games like Watch Dogs. With the anti-glare screen the graphic is almost like it is painted on with no flicker at all.I just found out what the hole on the stand is for and that is to feed the cords through. However because my computer is to the left, a lot of cords just barely reach the monitor thus defeating the possibility of feeding all the cords through the centre. I need to tidy up.Highly recommended!!

Cons: -The monitor came with Firmware Version 1-Higher resolution would have made it even better

Pros: -Great for the price-3D Support-Great Colour
Comment:
Okay, this is a great monitor! However, make sure the monitor comes with Firmware Version 2! It makes a huge difference. Mine had Version 1 and the default colour profile and blur reduction settings were pretty bad. I contacted BENQ and went to their service centre and they upgraded the firmware for free.Apart from that, it's a great monitor. I wasn't able to find a monitor that has 3D, 1ms, height adjustment for a lower price. Maybe new monitors that are better will come out soon, but for the price this is a great purchase.

Cons: - Need to make sure that you get version 2 of this monitor and not version 1. (firmware update) I had to wait a few more days for NCIX to find a version 2.

Pros: - Good picture (1910x1080)- High Quality stand makes for the perfect height, even for tall people- Easy setup- Great for gaming, super fast
Comment:
Overall, it’s a great monitor. A little on the pricey side but so far I'm liking what I am getting for my dollars. I don't have the system to give this thing a full run for its money (that's next to be upgraded), but so far I'm fairly impressed. If you are looking for a good gaming monitor, give this one serious consideration. And if you are over 6 feet tall, the stand on this gives it good height. No more neck kinks!

Cons: On Stock V1:Very Dark strobing (can't even play some game since the screen was too dark.. like BF4...);Poor color (using the ICC profile on the BenQ cd..);Lots of crosstalk.

Pros: With V2 firmware and the Blur Busters Strobe Utility:Can strobe even in 60hz, my games now using BLUR BUSTERS strobing utility and they have brightness how high I wish and REAL-TIME control;Less crosstalk since is now controlled as I WISH by the utility;Very nice color with the ICC profile from TFTcentral(close from my other monitor - Dell UltraSharp U2412M)
Comment:
Being one of the first to receive this screen (public release), pre-orderer on dec-2013 and delivered on the first January week with the V1 firmware. I was unsatisfied for a 500$ monitor.. and when I noticed the poor motion blur reduction configuration and results I was very close to return this screen... Fortunately I read on some forums and I found there was a way to fix the issues (in the cons area). What I've done to get rid of the V1 issues:Ordered the MSTAR unit and flashed from V1 to V2 with the support and procedure from Blur Busters website;Installed the BlurBusters Strobe Utility;Installed the ICC profile from TFTcentral DB;Made a custom resolution (120hz and set the total vertical pixel to 1350);Configured BLUR BUSTER Strobe Utilty. Results with Monitor flashed to V2 and the BLUR BUSTERS strobing utility:Everything that I gamer or an enthusiast would expect from a monitor!seriously, with firmware V2, Strobe Utility and a proper ICC profile it's like a totally new screen!
