Cons: Image quality is heavy on blue hue. Also require steady surface to work on.
Pros: Small footprint, self-powered (i.e. no need for an extra AC Power adapter), work as advertised. |
Brought this scanner so I can scan my receipts when I'm in the hotel room or airport. As I mentioned above, the image quality is a bit heavy on blue tone. Lucky for me I got my Photoshop so the problem is easily taken care of with few macros.Also, the document feed roller is not grabbing the document tight enough. So if you were scanning a document and accidentally "tug" on the paper, then you probably would have to rescan the document again as the outcome image is "dragged" like Blair Witch Project effect...Anyhow, this is a good purpose if you're a road warrior. Otherwise if you are just working out of your home all the time then a better purchase would be a cheap Multifunctional Copier/Scanner/Printer with document feeder and scan with it...Overall this fits my need and I would buy again (only because I travel a lot for my work and needs to scan my receipts for billing).
