Cons: Need a very safe location to place it or HD may fall out by accident

Pros: Connect SATA HD's to old PC (with only IDE) through USB2.0, USB hub, multi-cards reader, easy for drive swapping
Comment:
Got this on sale, no regret. So easy to swap drives. Can read my XD memory card directly (w/o adaptor), replaces my memory card reader as well as my USB hub. Can also connect to my multi-media player directly to play rm and avi files on TV. Read/write speed are quite fast too. Would be even better if there is some kind of simple mechanism, such as a wire hook, to secure the HD while in use. Highly recommended if U swap drives often (e.g. having different OS'es on different drives).

Cons: None yet.

Pros: Convenient, memory card reader.
Comment:
I bought this so I could quickly go through my collection of old hard drive and start reusing them for backups. It does this task perfectly and I'm even considering getting one for work. Haven't had a chance to use the memory card reader function yet but it's definately nice to have.

Cons: Nothing springs to mind

Pros: Handy and convenient
Comment:
I have a collection of old hard drives. This seemed an ideal way to put them to better use. I have not encountered a problem with this yet. Plugged in a multitude of drives and cards. Works well, I like this gadget a lot.

Cons: None

Pros: Fast way to access multiple hard drives. Much faster than I expected it would be.
Comment:
Over the years I've aquired a bunch of smaller hard drives that still work fine but are getting obsolete because of the low storage capacity. I could put them in my case but then they are on all the time (using power and generating heat) and since I just use them occasionaly for backup this unit permits me to swap in a drive as needed and then remove it again. It works great for what I wanted it for.

Cons: A bit clunky, triggers a myriad of drive letters to show up in windoze when you turn it on.

Pros: Handy external sata docking bay with card readers and usb ports!
Comment:
This is a very handy product for accessing sata drives without having to open your computer and plug it in there. It comes with card readers built in, and a couple usb ports on the front. This ends up being the "front" of my case since my computers sit on the floor, and this sits on my desk within easy reach! The software quality control is poor in terms of user interface and usability, but the software has not actually failed. I've not used it much though. The unit is a bit big and clunky on the desk, but I guess that's better than having my hard drive fall over while running.Lastly, when you turn this thing on, it triggers a whole pile of connected drives in windows for every single card reader socket, even if there's no card in it. Very annoying to have the safely eject icon show up for half a dozen drive letters when all you're using is an HD in the SATA port.PS. My first unit had dud card readers, quick replacement works fine.

Cons: Wires are a little short, but manageable. Not as rugged as other designs (ex. Thermaltakes similar product)

Pros: Very ser friendly comes with sotware so you don't need to buy extra. A bang for your buck compared to the competition.
Comment:
Great product would strongly recommend for anyone who owns a pc or notebook supporting sata, especially those who like to backup their data. The item doubles as a usb hub, so thats a nice little bonus if you wanna keep it on your work surface.

Cons: none that come to mind

Pros: external, fast, cheap.
Comment:
I build systems and create  a restore disc after all updates and configuration. It's was a hassle pulling out drives and putting them in internal drive bay or in other systems and rebooting to take the image and then reboot and burn the image. Now I can do it all with this USB drive in minutes. Life just keeps getting better.

Cons: honking big, no Esata, No dust flap on Drive bay

Pros: Great reader/dock/hub
Comment:
pictures don't do this justice.it is large!5" wide 4" deep 4" high to top of drive support Aprox.Light weight, solid construction, no need for any aditional software just plug in and go.power switch off, slap in any SATA Drive (i've tried 7 diffrent drives from 5 diffrent brands all work perfectaly)turn the power on. Windows picks it up. turn off power remove drive start again.the only real improvement they could make is to add ESATA and a dust flap on the Drive dock
