I won't get into the performance details of the GTX 660ti as that's best left to the professionals, but what I would like to say is that this card is an absolute dream for anyone with or building a mini-ITX system.My case is a Lian-Li PC-Q11B which only permits a maximum video card length of 230mm/9". Previously this would create a huge problem for anyone wanting a gaming-grade mITX system. Provided your case has facility for a dual slot card, not much will fit in terms of length - even the 7850 *if* on paper seems to be compliant, has the issue of having it's PCIe power connection on the far end as opposed to the side.Zotac's GTX 660ti is unique in that it's a good 2" shorter than the reference design (cooler included) and has the PCIe power connections to the side so that they won't add to total length.If length restrictions are not an issue for your build, by all means go with a brand you like or whatever is on sale, but for those of us with build constraints, Zotac now provides an option for some real compact GPU muscle and ontop of that it's factory overclocked too. |
Installed 2 of these in SLI and they fit my case very well. The only strange part was that it didn't work in SLI until I switch the cards around. No idea why that happened, but now it works very well.
