Replacing a terrible, crash-happy 4850, this card offers quite a bit more performance. The cooler is good enough to keep the Boost feature constantly running (combined with good case airflow, of course).One quirk: this card will not allow the machine to POST if it doesn't like the way you set up the DVI-VGA converter (it behaves as if it were dead)- it's oversensitive in that regard.If that happens, simply unplug the offending adapter and boot again- but I can't give a 5-star rating because of that.

Purchased one of these locally to replace a 5870 1GB in a media pc with a i7 965, that is also used by family for gaming. Excellent value, beats the 5870 in all aspects I listed in the pros.I was so impressed I purchased a 2nd from NCIX for SLI just for fun to be honest. And I must say that SLI scaling is as good as it gets, 90% plus. However, if the pcix slots on your motherboard are close these cards will get hot and then one will become noisy, due to lack of airflow between them - they are 2 slot cards. I don't see any stutter but Bioshock Infinite runs smoother on one but with higher fps on both - this is with 320.18 Something annoying I discovered is minimizing a game to desktop and returning to Metro last Light makes the screen flicker and requires a restart of the game.SLI has its quirks but provides great value and performance that exceeds a 680. I do not see microstutter and I'm satisfied with the results.Awesome product from Zotac, I would recommend it to anyone and SLI for those that want it all.
