Affordable. Decent memory for a now lower-end card. Still has a D-Sub port--challenging to locate a very good card that has a D-Sub port in addition to DVI. Draws power from mobo--no power cable expected. None that I can assume of. I bought this card mainly because it had a D-sub port. Have a 22" Sceptre monitor that blew it's DVI port a week soon after the one-year warranty expired. Using this as a head for my Server 2008 home media/file server.

I do graphic/web design and recording so i can not vouch for gaming but would assume it could handle quite a load only came up as 4.2 for windows rating. I bought this to go in my 4 year old Dell Pc with a Pentium D 840 Ɠ.two GHz) dual core processor and with three GB of DDR2 533 MHz RAM. I purchased it hoping it would let me to run present generation games on medium settings. I was a bit skeptical at very first seeing as this is not a high finish card and my processor is not exactly up to date. I have to say I am particularly content with the final results. I bought Fallout three as it is my favourite game on XBox 360 so that I can play via it once again even though my GF watches the Television on Weekends.The game defaulted to medium settings, and played perfectly. I have considering that kicked the settings up to high and increased AF to 12x and AA to 4x, and Fallout 3 still plays with a good frame rate. The only time I see any hiccups at all is entering into VATS, which is equivalent to the console version slow down. All round, I am particularly happy that this video card has permitted me to play current gen games on my 4 year old Computer with high settings. Fantastic purchase for me! Not a high end video card. Now I wonder just how great Fallout 3 would look had I spent the added dollars on a GeForce 9600 or GeForce 9800 GT. This card is wonderful for anybody not wanting to invest significantly income on a medium to high finish video card. Also note that I am running these games in total screen at 1440x900 and they appear good. I also downloaded the demo of Dirt 2, which is a pretty demanding game, and it nevertheless looks far better running on my Computer with this card than it does on my 360. For anybody out there with a Dell Computer seeking for a video card upgrade, check my specs beneath and establish if this card will do what you want. N/A I ɛ Nvidia and Zotac. PS: ATI sucks

Got this card to replace my NV 7600 which did not have the expected horsepower to assistance MLB2K10. This card has so a lot of +'s .....HDMI output, SLI help (so far it doesn't seriously require it) DX10...I cannot think it functions as great as it does on my 64-bit technique. Win 7 drivers not on disc, has to go on the web and seek drivers by way of Windows update ...perhaps thats just for 64-bit ver(?),...but I didnt see any on the disc. Price is excellent for all that this does. Im running Win 7, 64-bit DC Athlon 4800, 4 gb of DDR 800 ram and this card sings devoid of stopping. No noise difficulties so i can only assume that simply because i have an extra supplemental fan for cooling video cards in my situation (Raidmax Smilodon) requires a lot of the strain off the built-in fan on this card.

Good card, goes well beyond what I needed it to do. It can play games with minimal lag, and I'm running all my valve games at the highest settings with no lag either. One more huge pro for me is that it can play fallout three substantially much better that the 360 version. I bought 2 of these for two diverse machines. 1 card replaced a 7300GT and the other replaced a 6200. I commonly stick with EVGA cards, but on the price range I had, I opted to go for these given that they were ㅌ dollars cheaper than a equivalent EVGA card at the time. I was impressed with them the moment I pulled them out of the boxes, the cards had a nice solid feel to them. Added bonus that the heatsink they use covers the chip and the RAM on the card. A lot of mfgrs only place a sink on the GPU itself. Also the card is good and shot so there's no be concerned about it not fitting in your case.Both cards have worked good, no difficulties beneath Linux / Win 7 / Solaris. Granted they're not the fastest cards on the marketplace, but it runs all of my old games at max res w/o troubles. I would not hesitate to buy 1 of Zotac's items in the future. This is a genuinely excellent budget card.
