I adore this GPU. I've got it OverClocked at 900MHz. It's a fantastic GPU. I love that it's HD with an HDMI cable port. I just wish it came with an HDMI cable. None.

Cool, Quiet, Rapidly The driver that came with this card would not load, nor would many driver revisions from NVIDIA; not certain what that was all about. Had a concern with my second DVI connected monitor flickering till the video drivers crashed and Win 7 restarted them. Firmware update from EVGA did not appropriate this. Major function of this card is BluRay ripping and NVIDIA drivers at time of acquire (Feb 2011) severely restricted CUDA functionality. NVIDIA has given that released corrected drivers and this card operates as expected. I didnt consider that a February obtain qualified as early adopter, but that is the impression that i got from the driver troubles i had with this card. NOT EVGA's fault. Now that the concern has been corrected i would not hesitate to purchase yet another 570 from EVGA if I decided to go SLI.

I purchased parts for a new i7 create but the motherboard hasn't arrived nevertheless, so in the meantime I replaced my older make's (E8400ʃ.6GHz) EVGA 8800GTS G92 with this GTX 570. Just about every single a single of my games now runs so a lot better (except Black Ops is nevertheless inconsistent, but that's down to Treyarch). CS Source (orangebox engine) went from 60-100 fps to more than 250 consistently, BFBC2 now runs flawlessly maxed. I can't pressure adequate how limited by gfx card games are these days, if you have a decent enough CPU (and the E8400 is nevertheless performing OK with a mild overclock).Other notes: These tests had been completed at 1680x1050 res as I only have a 22" monitor. The KR aspect was the only offered on Newegg when I bought it, and as stated in another critique only comes with 3 year coverage and no step-up unless you purchase a separate warranty. On the other hand this is an administrative factor and in no way detracts from the top quality of the card itself. Plus, I refresh each 3 years so will certainly get one more EVGA card then.

I'm using this in a modern ddr3 socket 1155 sytem with a 24 lcd monitor and I thought I'd be able to play Skyrim on full. So it turns out I can come close and it looks great but not maxed out. With the price I might buy another one and sli it.

Cons: High price vs performance

Pros: High quality GPU
Comment:
The GTX 570 is a very good GPU and I just bought a second one. If you're lucky enough to geth them during the halloween sale, this will be the best $200 GPU you will ever own. At normal price of $300 for 1.25GB and $400 for 2.5GB though, I would suggest something different as these are definitely not the best cards in that price range.

I don't even know where to start. The card runs a lot quieter than the older a single I've had for the superior component of 2 years. With what I run I don't have to worry about temps as considerably as this thing is as cool as a cucumber. The added bonus of a full-size HDMI and Display port will truly come in handy later on down the line. The only con I can seriously complain about is the utter lack of newer hardware on my end. Getting stuck with hand-me-down pc parts for the previous couple of years produced me see how considerably I was missing. I'm so glad I created the investment. The subsequent step is to replace the motherboard now. Might just do that around Christmas time...

Overall nothing wrong with this a bit loud when fan ramps up and can get hot. You get what you pay for because this is cheaper than the other manufacturers with the aftermarket coolers.

Looks killer inside my Pc. EVGA!!!Runs extremely quiet at 45% fan speed. Any greater and I can hear it spooling up.Frame rates in all my games additional than doubled, coming from dual Radeon 5700's.Overclocks really effortless.Sale, plus ฮ mail in rebate, plus two free of charge games = awesome Fan noise.Power hungry, comparing to my old Radeons Overclocked to 846MHz core, 1679MHz shader and didn't touch the voltage. Would easily go over 900 with a small a lot more tweaking but I'm happy with with 114 raise on the core clock. Temps did not go up for the duration of load and common 60-70 with 50-60% fan speed, which feels a little high, but acceptable. I'll bite the bullet and turn up the fan speed, simply because something over 60% is quite noticeable, more than 3 case and one particular CPU fan in my Computer.

HDMI and display port the drivers that come in the box only assistance 32ኜ bit XP and 32ኜ vista. had to go to the nividia site to grab drivers for windows 7 the main purpose I desided to get this card was the inclusion of a full HDMI port. I didn't want to by a monitor and speakers so I employed my existing surround sound program and my 40 in HDTV. the monitor worked appropriate out of the box but had to go and get the most recent drivers from nividia for the sound.

I upgraded from a xfx radeon hd 5670, and wow, you can see the difference. Also, for the price on special this is a great deal, go with this instead of the 580 with costs lots more for about only 2-3 more fps.

Descent numbers from a single card High priced, Not enough overall performance acquire more than 2x 260s SLi, Really hot I purchased this locally, and was upgrading from 2x GTX260's in SLi. I was hoping for a lot additional overall performance upgrade from those, but I was within 3 FPS with a single 570. Type of disappointing contemplating the price.Guess I will have to just purchase yet another one particular.

Cons: -glad to see this card get bumped down by saving codes, surprised it still a $300+. PM for sure or wait for a sale.

Pros: -performance is stunning and appropriate for mid tier builds-life cycle has long relevance, especially with dual graphics setup
Comment:
I have this coupled with an i5 2500k. It runs crysis warhead on full settings 1080p resolution and can deviate between 40-50+ fps. witcher 2 is also running at full settings and wow, that game is strikingly detailed. Once apps become a little more versatile and let the gpu handle its processes, partly or all of it, computer tasks will in affect, advance quite ahead. This card will provide many years of next gen gaming and anything else thrown at it.

I don't know why I bought this EVGA card again after a bad experience with the 8800GT. The 8800GT was working fine, pull out of the system for an upgrade. Couple months later, use the 8800GT for testing and the fan doesn't spin anymore. So much for a spare videocard. Try to save it, paid $250 + tax back then, but not much info from Google. Usually steer away quickly after a bad experience but like a sucker, I kept coming back. 'nough said. This GTX 570 can run really hot and loud too. Had a 80mm fan blown on the back side of the pcb help the temp down 4-5 degrees.

Extremely quick. Does not get any hotter than my 285. Destroys all games at highest settings. Shorter than a 285 or 260. Fan has a higher pitch. But not overwhelming. I thought my 285 was great. I also had a 250 in as a devoted Physx card. Took out the 250 and ran just the 570. Excellent. I have an AMD 970 and 4 gigs of GSkill 1600. I got 20,240 score in 3Dmark06. 23,440 in Vantage!! Each and every game as smooth as silk. Even fixed a weird audio video glitch point in Battlefield Negative Comp. two. Adore it. Yes three yr. warranty. I will upgrade once again I'm confident.
