Pros: SilentGreat performance SLI wonder....

This is one of the best GTS 250 on the market. i used 2 of them in SLI and they work wonders. Also since they do not use too mutch power i can only use a 550watts PSU saving me alot of money!

I bought this card because of its excellent price:vram & price:clockspeed ratios. FAR exceeded my expectations, even inspired me to game. Great software, better support! Love EVGA.

I got these in 2 way and overclocked a bit and it runs cool, usually get 60-70 in game at 70% fan speed, I play anything I want on max gfx 1920x1200 0 lag. My video card before would have had a heart attacking even hearing those titles, get this video card...2 way it and go to town.

This is a great card for the price. Recieved a a 6.7 on the Windows index, whereas my friend recieved a 7.4 with 1g DDR5 with a HD 5770. He also paid 80 bucks more for the HD 5770, and the 250 will do anything I want, so yeah. Running Windows 7 flawlessly. If you want to save some money, great card.

Had this card for approximately 5 months, on most games (WoW, L4D2, Team fortress 2 ect.) i get about 100-150 FPS. Now granted those arn't the most graphically demanding games out there but i was expecting a lot less frames. Running on a Q8200, EVGA 750i MB, and 7G of ram. Great card for the price, considering buying another and SLI-ing them.

Got mine 2 days ago. installed with a new build. Works fine, runs a little hotter then i like, but the fan on it is a beast. One of the best coolers i have seen. Kinda loud when the fan is it full speed. Overall a killer Card though

wc3 frozen throne runs 91 fps and delta force black hawk down runs 120-400 fps the settings on card when it comes its quick, very easy to install. fan will be loud on anything higher then 55 percent my is running at about 35 percent and i cant hear it and my case runs about 90 degree F so decent card worth the 150

If you are budget minded, the GTS 250 is a great card. Benchmarks aren't too far away from the 260 card, but it is cheaper.

Runs quiet when idling. Even during gaming with graphics maxed out you can barely hear the fan. Good graphics worth every penny.

First if all im running windows 7 64 bit ultimate edition with this card and I have a score of 7 on my graphics. I purchased first so I can play games and thats what I've been doing without a glitch. Im playing Crysis of coarse and averaging 40-46 FPS which is not bad. Im playing Call of duty modern warfare and it plays awesome too without any choppyness I used to get from my old 9600GSO. If your planning on playing cryostasis with this card then I do not recommend it, get instead a 275 or go SLI with dedicated physx card. I Highly recommend this card. Ive tried it out with my old BIOSHOCK game and the FPS were so high the software that came with the video card couldn't go higher. ( Im running a XFX 780i motherboard with 12 Gigs of RAM and a E8600 processor overclocked to 3.9Ghz)planning on going SLI soon.

Dual slot, nice interface with my HDTV. Be sure it doesn't overlap other slots on your MoBo. Doesn't perform AT ALL with my hi-res shooter games. Shouldn't be a hardware problem with my 12GB, i920, 850W beast. Uninstalled all the old drivers (x3) and installed the recommended W7 drivers. It would load, start, play for 2 minutes and then shut down. Tried all possible solutions with no joy but it did work for general use. In desperation, sought help from the 12 year old Geeks at BB and all they could come up with was the video card. So, uninstalled this card and reinstalled my old GT9400-1MB-DDR2 card and all was well. The same W7 drivers for this card are also the same drivers for my 9400 so it cannot be the drivers. Must be something inherent in t he card. Also, when I downloaded the 64-bit drivers and reviewed the operating files there were 32-bit files operating as well. I am no expert, but this seemed strange.
