I purchased two of these negative boys and they perform incredible SLIed. Granted, this upgrade was a big jump from my tiny Galaxy GeForce GT 220 (I tried to skimp on my video card to save dollars when I initial bought my rig)... But these cards assist completely utilize the rest of my hardware. Almost everything appears excellent and runs so smooth. Purchased two of these cards to run in sli. These cards at their overclock setting of 850mhz are absolutely smokin quick!! Just 1 of these cards is as great as a GTX470 and it will cost you alot much less income to purchase 1 of these and to operate one particular as effectively. Every little thing about it. Runs each game maxed out on my program. on default the auto fan control hasnt took the fan past 30% speed 1 time below complete load with temps reaching a max of 50C .... For the value, unless you're in a *expletive deleted* measuring contest with benchmark geeks with no lives, this is all the card you will need for a single screen gaming rig, and then some.

Runs whisper quiet. Seriously; I couldn't hear it at all. Most of the games I play auto-detect to the highest settings (except maybe Crysis...but Crysis is what it is). Card isn't really big, so it was no issue to fit it into my Dell XPS 8000 case. I had to upgrade my power supply to handle it, but hey, that was expected, as I only had 350W in there just before. 520W appears to perform just fine. You can't add as well much additional to it now, but I don't seriously care, because the subsequent time I upgrade, I'm just creating my personal rig. Would like to SLI, but don't have the room in my case. That's the case's fault, and not the product's, although. This was an upgrade from a GTS 240. Major distinction in framerate! In Crysis before, putting a couple of of the settings at Really High would make the framerate chug. Now, I can put textures, objects, and a couple other folks at Incredibly High, and it's like butter.

Sold my hd 5770 card to a friend and got this gpu.this overclock card muscle tissues 61 fps in Just trigger two at 1920 x 1080 res. with image top quality settings at medium. Much better driver assistance is also the reason I decided to go nvidea two free of charge games makes it an excellent purchase. Inputted the coupon codes via steam and each JC2 mafia two worked.Just registered to the Steam service. never thought I would get into the digital distribution planet as well soon. minor issue, I noticed a distinction in image quality compared to Ati/Amd cards to nvidea. no matter what series it is or how terrible the video drivers are. Ok tested COD4,COD WAW,COD MW2, COD BO'S,Crysis 2, Metro2033, And Metal of Honor. Very easily Typical 60+ With every thing maxed at 1920x1080 with the cod series. Average about 35-50FPS on Crysis two,and Metro maxed. Highest temps got was 90C with the fan about 70% on auto. This was scary at initial but these cards are produced to run hot, It's very standard. artifacts or crashes. Ordered the high flow bracket from evga and it keeps it about 2-five degrees cooler for ten$. Usally idles 35-45,and gaming 75-90 This absoutly drove me nuts. But i ultimately figured it out right after a couple of months. To everyone that is having open gl problems,and compatibilty difficulties with older games, crashing, And so on........... All was fixed for me by going to microsoft and downloading the lastest DX9 runtime which is June 10. Now all DX9 games run good. Just before i would get crashes with a black screen that would reduce in and out, But it only stopped the game for about 2 secs. I study the event viewer that stated VIDEO HARDWARE ERROR. I thought possibly the card was bunk. But after speaking to numerous evga,and nvidia folks they just stated to download the lastest drivers which i believed i had. But apparently these cards,or all of windows updates do not upgrade your dx9 automatically which i believed they did. Which is totally retarted if your playing older games,and computer software. Was almost gonna rma until i discovered the problem out. So make certain you analysis every thing prior to you rma. Most most likely it's not the card it's the software program. Make sure as soon as you get this to download the newest forceware drivers,and to download the lastest DX9 Runtime,or you will get crashes in ALL DX9 games. 1 GB, 256bit, EVGA excellent, stocked over-clocked, runs super cool. It wasn't free of charge... :-/ This factor is a beast for certain. It plays all my games a super high top quality and it totally PWNS Aion. Be warned though, this factor is Large! Please make positive you have adequate room in your case or you'll be really upset. Oh yeah, make sure you have a decent power provide too!

this card is just program nasty. for 200 bucks and the specs that u get, you cant go incorrect. Picked me up 2 of these babies for sli. i propose 2 if u can simply because they just will blow your mind for this value! didnt warn u about getting to get a sli connector ribbon...typicaly MB come with them but i would think VGAs would as properly but that dosnt even dent my overview as good card :P

I've had a PNY 9800 GTX due to the fact release and i believed i was gaming fairly properly with that thing till i got this...This point doesn't slow down on me at all. I can have BFBC 2 in the background when i check my mail in firefox whilst the game is loading and i just click back in on the game and it opens immediately. I rock typical 50 FPS in GTA IV with settings set at the highest and the draw distance set at 75. Lol what cons? I guess its not cost-free. I didn't get this card from Newegg, but i noticed their wasn't a critique and wanted to let other Newegg-er's know that this card for the price tag is un-beatable.

Can't truly say what pros there are in no way got to see them For me like quite a few several people today can not get the card to perform with drivers installed. Quiet. Cool. Quickly. I can't even consider of a reason to overclock it as it's handling anything I throw at it at max settings even with my somewhat older equipment ƔGb DDR2 on an Intel Core2 6600 at two.4Ghz). Installing it was a bit of a pain as it barely fit my mid-tower ATX. I had to move a harddrive to get it to fit. Also, if I want to SLI this, I'll want to upgrade my energy provide as it took each my readily available PCIe cables.It's now the most sophisticated piece of hardware in my box, and as they say in crew, you're only as rapid as your slowest rower. I'm now hunting into upgrading the mainboard, memory, and CPU as properly. I upgraded from two 7600GSes in SLI to one particular GTX 460. In 1 swell foop I doubled my memory, got directx 11, and was still capable to max out display settings. Beautiful. Loves it.

Particularly rapidly OC from the factory. Huge upgrade from my old 8800GT. While playing any mainstream game, the card gets warm, as expected. But what I didn't expect was how loud the fan was going to be. I believed the thing was going to fly correct off the card! I don't know if I got a defective card or not. Temps keep stable, no crashes. The fan is just terribly loud. I can even hear it from the opposite end of my home!.
