Comment: I ordered this one to match a Coolermaster Stacker case. It matches quite well. Although the floppy drive is rarely used, it does come in handly for adding extra drivers while installing Windows.

Pros:* It's black: fits with my case quite nicely.* It works.* Cheap. Comment: It's black and it works. I don't know what else you can say about this. It's always good to have one of these around because you never know when you might need one again. Plus, for only $10, it's not a huge investment.

The floppy drive is a little loud when running but then again so is every floppy drive.

Black exterior to blend with my black case. It seems that more and more I end up needing a floppy to load sata divers or to flash something in dos. For $10 it will end up saving headaches.

(memtest86, debian disk install, sata drivers etc..)so I picked up a few and fired them into my machines.one was a bit flaky, and wouldn't work at all in one of my machines. In another machine it worked fine. (and another fd in the first machine worked fine, so I have no idea what was wrong)anyways, they're cheap. they work, they get the job done, I'm just lucky I didn't get hosed with that flaky drive being stuck in the one machine it wouldn't work with.beyond that, it's a floppy. get this if you need one.

Pros:Reads and writes floppy disks just fineGreat for your 1.44 mb files and small dos games. Comment: Everyone needs a flopply because Win XP needs to use the floppy during instalation if you are running a SATA drive in my case in RAID 1. This drive does what it was designed to do. But its days are gonna end one day soon. I hope.

If you're considering not getting one with your new computer, make sure you do! In the event of disaster you will need one.
