Cons: -the cables are really stiff (not really a con, but it can make it difficult to rout at times)-a bit longer than expected, but no problems encountered

Pros: -Sleeved Black cables-fully modular-Comes with a small bag to store extra cables & Velcro straps-Quiet
Comment:
Everything from the packaging, to the PSU and the cables screams high quality product.

Pros: Excellent 10 year warrantySleeved black cablesFully Modular Dead silent fan when it is running.
Comment:
I know some people are saying the cables are too stiff, or too short, but with and HAF X I didn't find this at all. Cables were more than long enough to easily route behind mobo. Stiffness not an issue. Fan when running is dead silent.

Pros: Good quality, and well made. Fully modular for very cheap, as i got it on sale. Powering everything up no problems at all. Comes with a nice pouch to keep all your remaingin cables and whatnot in, nice touch.

Cons: - Backordered and delayed my PC build for 5 weeks.

Pros: - Very quiet.- Great price for a high quality PSU.- Japanese capacitors.
Comment:
Look this PSU up at JonnyGURU site and you will see that it has earned excellent ratings. The price is also great especially during NCIX's boxing week. Don't go cheap on a PSU, get one with high quality, made-in-Japan capacitors. Don't bother with those built with Chinese capacitors.

Exceptional power supply for the price. Running a Core i7 4790K CPU (overclocked to 4.7Ghz on air), 1x Radeon R9 290X 4Gb and two hard drives (1x 512Gb SSD and 1x 3Tb standard hard drive) with no issues. Highly recommended.

Cons: - Not its fault but its a bit longer in length than some cases may prefer.

Pros: - Whisper quiet (even when the ECO feature is set to OFF)- Very Sturdy Design -- can prolly survive a tank blast- Lots of cables and very long in length
Comment:
I bought this when it was on sale for a ridiculously low price (mid 2-digit figure) with the sole reason that it was 80+ Gold and modular. However, i did check out the reviews too and was very impressed that no one hated this thing beyond the so-called stiff cables. About the cables, they are NOT stiff. Apparently i have a different view point because these cables are very bendable in every way. It's possible that EVGA updated this model to resolve this or because i am not a big game rig guy i am not experienced enough to know what "stiff" means compared to others in this review. For me, i though "stiff cables" meant when i let them hang they would hold their positions so tightly i would need to apply some exerted forced to move them. Not the case for me, for me my cables all dangle loosely (but there is a tad of rigidity -- enough that i can use that in my favor to keep them away from certain areas in the case).ECO feature - when enabled (via a switch on the back) it turns off the fan -- and it stays off 99% of the time, that is unless your system is drawing some mega wattage and causing it to overheat. Great feature, and recommend this for others in the industry because most times PSU's arent drawing enough to warrant having the fan running 24/7. This saves on your monthly bill. Thank you EVGA.Modular design - Beautiful. What can i say? You can tell EVGA put a lot of love in this thing and doing things like including a PSU tester tool, 2 pouch bags, and an overkill of cables. It has a 10yr "limited" :( warranty so if you buy this it is very important that you register right away when u get it because if you dont you are SOL.Make sure to look over this PSU's dimensions carefully and check your case. You need at least 7" in length to just fit in and at least 2-3 inches minimum to have enough room to slide the cables in. So if you have one of those cases where your DVDROM sits behind/infront of the PSU then you may not have enough room to fit the PSU let alont, the cables it requires. But then, if you are buying this PSU you are a game freak and already have an overkill PC with an overkill case so ignore what i just said :PAnyway, labor of love is how i describe  EVGA with this PSU

Cons: Stiff CablesSata cables MAY be too short depending on your case and hardware placement

Pros: High QualityReliable
Comment:
So I just installed this and you can tell it's high quality and a good and reliable power supply. Cables are a little stiff so it's hard to maneuver around for good cable management in your case(unless you're good with this stuff). I found the sata cable was a little short. For example, the Sata power cables have multiple connectors so you can plug one end into the power supply, then one into the optical and hard drive. But for me my optical and hard drive are a little far apart so I couldn't use the same connector to connect both. I had to plug in another Sata cable and while it's not an issue(you could easily buy an adapter) it's just made it a little crammed in my case. Otherwise, great power supply, Highly recommended!

Comment:
Main complaint would be the stiff cables as they're not ribbon styled but sleeved. Cases with small cable routing options may be trouble accommodating the thick cables especially if running cards in SLI/CFX. Otherwise this is the absolutely best PSU in the price range.

Cons: To quote another user review: "-You MUST register with EVGA to get the full 10 years warranty, so do it now before you forget!-MIR is an Amex Gift Card"Also, the information printed on it is attached by sticker. It's a good quality sticker, but it will eventually peal off long before the 10 year warranty is up. None of these issues are a big deal.It barely fits into my mATX Lian Li PC V351 case (FYI). Awkward but it works fine once its in there. I accidentally pushed out one of the modular power cables when I first installed it. It took a lot of testing to figure out what had happened, so make sure you don't make the same mistake I did. Your computer might still boot with some of the power cables disconnected (but it probably won't run stable). The price is likely to scare some people away, because it seems to good to be true, especially on sale. I am guessing that one reason why this is so competitively priced is because I heard that there were some quality control problems with EVGA's G1 series. EVGA may be trying to win back customer confidence. Also, presumably EVGA has found ways to keep costs relatively low, and is passing those savings on to consumers. Personally I would gladly have paid another 15% more for this product if I knew that the money would go directly to higher workers wages (I doubt that the chinese workers who make these are being paid as much as they should be).

Pros: Quiet even when fan running. 10 year warranty. Looks nice.Extremely highly reviewed by expert reviewers.EVGA is a trusted brand name. This is supposedly a big improvement over the G1 series.
Comment:
The review from johnyguru says everything. The price is also the lowest price for any power supply with such a great warranty and such great specs. I'm no expert, but I trust when the experts say that things like stable voltages reduce stress on the motherboard and other components, and that a good quality power supply like this one will reduce the chances of any premature hardware failures. My motherboard is only mid-range, and my overclocked CPU is about as much as my motherboard can handle, so it's probably extra important to have a very good power supply. Some people think 750w (or the very similar 850 watt version) isn't enough, but it's more likely that it's more power than you need. I would have been happy with a very good 600W power supply, but I bought the G2 because it seems to beat all 600w power supplies in value (and it seems to beat most of them in terms of quality and warranty as well!).Furthermore, because I've got more power than I need from this thing, the power supply is normally able to run without using its fan at all most of the time (if I'm not gaming) which is really awesome. It means that the fan is likely to continue running quietly (when it does need to run) for a very long time. This feature alone definitely adds a lot of value. I can't even tell if the fan is on when I am running games (but you can force the fan to turn on with a toggle switch if you want, which is a good feature if you're worried about overall case airflow).

Cons: - none that I can see; if you have a smaller case this might be a tight fit, so be sure to make sure you have enough space beforehand.

Pros: - quiet (the fan is often off entirely, and when it is on I've not heard it above other fans in my system)- extremely well reviewed model- great warranty- modular with plenty of cables- solid price, especially on sale (perhaps a bit more than competing product, but it's well worth it in my opinion)- more than enough power for the foreseeable future
Comment:
I try to buy well reviewed hardware and this unit seems especially loved by tech sites. It has everything I needed/wanted, and I really like the 10-year warranty backup. With GPUs and CPUs trending down in terms of power usage, I'm hoping I won't need another PSU for my main rig for a good long while.

Comment:
This PSU is built solid by Superflower with all Japanese capacitors. Has very stable rails and works quietly even with eco mode off. The best part about it is that it is fully modular making for a tidy build. The only caution maybe its length which might make for a tight fit depending on your case. Overall it is a great value for a 750W 80+ gold certified power supply.

Pros: It's EVGA. Has some weight to it, so to me that means a good transformer & quality. Like the rough surface feel. Quiet fan, Modular makes for a real nice clean tower. Comes with 2 bags, one that contains your power Supply, the other for storing ALL the extra cables you'll receive & not use.
Comment:
I like this power supply. It came with LOTS of stuff like wires, velcro tie wraps, cables, storage bag, sticky labels to mark your wires. I just was stunned at the way it was packaged and all the things contained within the box. I'm very happy with it, and would recommend highly to anyone. I don't know if I'll use the eco feature yet, but it's there, and I'm sure works fine.

Bought this PSU based on reviews/price and am very happy with it so far, only complaint is my complete failure to check dimensions as I planned to put it in an itx prodigy case and 160mm is pushing it, this has a length of 180mm, just slightly sticking out the back with no room for cables... was debating a return but It's such a nice psu, so I modded the case to fit, planning for a bigger case in the future for dual graphics anyway.

Wow, where do I start? I haven't been this impressed with a power supply for a long time. Fully modular, excellent build quality, fantastic packaging, the list just goes on and on. I have this in a build for my mother:i3-43304GB DDR3-1600Gigabyte B85M-D3HIntel 530 120GB SSDCorsair CX430 (Previous PSU)Now before you attack, I *know* this is major overkill for her. However I wanted something that was going to last her for years to come with an excellent warranty. While the PC was running with the CX430, I thought it was really quiet. I was wrong! It's absolutely silent with the fan in the "eco" mode which turns the fan off during low loads. I could ramble on for another couple paragraphs, but I'll cut it here. Do not hesitate to get this power supply, it's absolutely worth it.

For the price, it's a great power supply. It's silent with eco mode activated, even when playing games, the fan doesn't start spinning. With eco mode off, it's very quiet but not as silent as the Be Quiet model. It feels high quality and the price is good compared to the competition. Highly recommended.
