Cons: proprietary removable cord. mic in cord. On loud volume your sound can be heard by others although not too bad. Not the most compact, don't fold up. case provided (while very very nice) is not very portable for the space conscious backpacker.

Very nice sound. Does not go into super base but handles everything else exquisitely clear. In cord mic very clear to others even with intense background noise (skytrain etc.) Not having a wireless mic is the only reason I hesitated on this purchase. but it is worth restating The Sound Quality is Solid Gold. If you're into a product like looks, feels and sounds as stylish as you deserve, these are pure silk. If your looking to live out of a backpack then maybe not for you, but that's what ear buds are for. As always if you can find them on sale - highly recommended.
