5PORT GIGABIT GREENNET SWITCH
Cons:Packaging was really damaged. There was a gaping hole through the shipping box all the way to the product's box. The unit is fine though, but I'm not at all impressed with Canada Post's handling especially when it says fragile on the box.
Pros:Built like a rock. Small but very heavy. Bought on sale for $19.99. Excellent speeds. Comment:
Overall an excellent buy. Goes well with a router I have (Linksys WRT150N with DD-WRT Firmware). |

5PORT GIGABIT GREENNET SWITCH
Cons:None
Pros:Solid metal construction, inexpensive and good speeds, low power. Comment:
BOught this to expand my Linksys WRT 310N (and to avoid relying on my Terrible Telus Gigaset modem. So far it has been rock solid, the metal construction feels solid too. Transfer speeds are very fast as well. Hassle free so far and definitely better than what I expected from Trendnet and at this price point.Would/will buy again if I need more switches. |

Cons:

Pros: -small-doesn't feel cheap-can be mounted Comment:
It works. What can I say? My network is slowing down because of my hard drives now, not because of my ethernet. I like the metal casing and the small form factor. |

Have the 8-port model at modem and 5-port on another floor of the the house. Nice bump up in file transfer speeds, beats up on other brand names price wise, so far no beefs with quality. |

5PORT GIGABIT GREENNET SWITCH
Cons:
wireless is not present
Pros: it has 5 ports as advertise Comment:
what can I say about a switch? It switches?Well it does just that... Switch! The order took well over 30 days to get to me because a pricematch had been refused and they didn't take care of taking into account the fact I had paid the difference for counter offer upgrade I accapted. Pricematch refusals are a mess and you should get the whole order scratched and be refunded to start another. Without forgetting the fact I can pricematch 9 out of 10 items I purchase with them... This switch being the 10th on this order. |

5PORT GIGABIT GREENNET SWITCH
Cons:
none
Pros: metal chassis, plug and play, decent price Comment:
It's a network switch, it should be plug and play and easy to use and this is all that. But it does look pretty nice, it's also small and compact. Doesn't seem to heat up like my other routers. It's also one of the few that uses a nicer metal chassis. My only gripe with this is that I bought the 5 port instead of the 8 port, which NCIX later exchanged for me. (they were both on sale for 24.99 and 29.99, they looked the same to my near dyslexic eyes) |

5PORT GIGABIT GREENNET SWITCH
Cons:
Really cant name one so far, some may think it looks too boxy and old style, but that's what I like
Pros: Sturdy boxing with lights for 100Mps or 1000MpsSuppose to reduce power consumption, but I haven't double checked. Seems to run cooler than my old D-Link Comment:
Ok it comings with the switch itself, ac adapter and 1 lan cable i believe. Installtion was a no-brainner. I do not notice any significant improvement in terms of network however. |
What can you say? It's small, works well out of the box and a steal when it goes on sale.
