5PORT GIGABIT GREENNET SWITCH
Cons:None
Pros:- Awesome price- Trendnet have upped their game! Comment:
I don't understand why people rate this with 4 stars and as a weakness they say things like "it only has 5 ports". Well DUH!!! It's a 5-port swtich, hence the 5 ports. Trendnet has an 8-port version of this, so if you need more ports, get that! Aside from that, it's a great little swtich. Picked it up on sale for $29 and you can't beat that price for a GB swith. Does what it's supposed to do and doesn't look as cheaply made as former Trendnet products - they have definitely upped their game! |

5PORT GIGABIT GREENNET SWITCH
Cons:Only 5 port, so maybe reconsider for larger networks.
Pros:Compact, cheap (price-wise), durable. Comment:
With all 5 ports in use, it performs very well and keeps speeds very high. I am very happy with it, although I may have bought a switch with more ports. I do nt know how well it conserves energy, but I don't think it will be that much of a difference due to the limited amount of energy needed to power a normal switch. |

5PORT GIGABIT GREENNET SWITCH
Cons:None
Pros:Metal case is sold Comment:
Decent little gigabit switch for the price when you can get it on sale. It's compact and sturdy with the case being made of metal. No complaints so far with all 5 ports in use. Can't say how much 'green' savings I'm getting from it yet. |
Great little switch for the price. I paired it with my trusted WRT54GL to give it gigabit capability. Simple plug and play, was up and running in seconds. Power saving features a bonus. My Kill-A-Watt registers only 1Watt with 2 ports in use.
