Cons: might be heavier than some users may like

Pros: Toggle switch for CPIDriverlesscomforttrack on lots of surfaces
Comment:
Purchased this mouse to replace my dead razer diamondback. My initial impression of the Xai is very good. the shape is more round than I am used to, but it lets me fit my whole palm onto the mouse and it is just as easy to hold with my preferred claw grip.My favorite part of the mouse so far is how well it tracks. My diamondback would bug-out and barely move on my current desk. The Xai worked perfectly out of the box! it even has path correction for more un-even surfaces. Very pleased with this purchase.

Went from a RAT 5 that broke to this and I don't miss the old mouse. It's simple, and very effective. I love it and would recommend to anyone looking for a new gaming mouse.

Cons: Only having 2 DPI settings is hard to adjust to after using a logitech mouse.

Pros: Great texture. Smooth glide feet. Easy to set up. Profile switching and setup is easy using the LCD on the bottom of the mouse.

I bought this mouse after my Logitech G9 started to die. I owned a Steelseries 6GV2 and I-1 glassmat mouspad prior to buying this and I love SteelSeries' products so far. The reviews on this mouse that I've seen have all been positive, which is rare. But yeah, so far the only problem (which is really just an adjustment issue) is stepping down the number of available DPI settings from logitech. If you are looking for a new gaming mouse and have the budget, go for it!

Nice feeling, responsive mouse for gaming or for attaching to a Mac so you can get some real right-click and middle-click action going on.Good job on buttons and the feel of the wheel.

Cons: Does not play well with a digital KVM.

Pros: Excellent quality; highly configurable.
Comment:
Great mouse - I was looking for a replacement for the razer mouse that I had (there were some problems and the LED's were too annoying).Did a lot of research and bought this mouse - Excellent mouse. It is taking some time to get use to from a razer mouse (the back end is a bit wider than my copperhead/krait that i had) but overall I am very pleased.I am taking one star away for that it does not play well with my iogear digital kvm - it takes a long time for the mouse to be recognized and sometimes the mouse device is unrecognized on a switch; if it didn't have this problem it would be a solid 5 star rating.

Cons: Wheel feels cheap and tough to move;

Pros: the God weapon for FPS games; High tech LCD adjustment for everything; Driver-less; Path correction; Durable.
Comment:
One thing that cannot be aware of before you own it is the mouse won't get your hand sweat stains. I have 2 Logitech G7 and 2 Death-adders. they all have my hand mud after an intensive play. XAI is smooth and clean all the time, which is really unbelievable for me. Until now do I realize the surface material does make huge difference! I won't go back to plastic shell of Logitech or rubber of Razer anymore. Not like Razer or Logitech using very junk micro switches on their mouse, even on flagships, SS uses better ones on XAI. You can also buy official mouse feet from SS when yours are worn out. BTW my death adders both have double-click issue due to garbage micro switches Razer nowadays use. I miss the comfortable feeling Death-adder gave to me, but Razer is ruining its reputation by adopting rubbish microswitches. If 3D wheel is used like Logitech's, this will be the first perfect mouse in the world.

Cons: -Thumb button size & placement

Pros: -Ability to save & export mouse profile-Profile stays with the mouse-comfortable
Comment:
This mouse is very comfortable. Before I bought this mouse it looked very ordinary and not eye catching. However I have found that this mouse is of high quality and has alot of settings to work with. The thing that I do like is the ability to save the profile and export it to a save place. So if you ever get a replacement you can just transfer the profile. I am a FPS gamer and my mouse setting is very important, this removes the learning curve of a system refresh and loosing the setting you have become accustomed to.Absolutely great

Cons: The shape of the scroll wheel, firmware problem?

Pros: Great material, fit and built quality, bad-ass on board memory with the steelseries display, DPI switcher was flawless
Comment:
The scroll wheel is more of a square design so if you scroll with your middle finger it feels pointing on the tip of your finger. I seem and heard about the firmware with people's mouse where you upgrade and the mouse crashes and it becomes completely unusable, so i didn't upgrade.

Cons: Does not track well on textured surfaces

Pros: High build quality, nice materials, great software, perfect tracking
Comment:
This mouse is very high quality, the material feels very nice and the simplicity and shape are perfect. The software allows easy customization of just about everything with this mouse, the only thing I dislike is the inability to change the button for selecting DPI. One thing to make mention of is that this mouse does not like rough surfaces. I have yet to try it on a cloth pad but it did not like my slightly textured rocketfish pad, I took it off and it tracks almost perfectly on my desk. I purchased a teflon pad that I believe will be perfect for this mouse.Overall I would purchase it again. I tried many mice including the death adder and several logitechs and settled on this. The build quality is just above and beyond the competition.
