Cons:
Grip pad makes using the pad in different locations a pain.
Pros: Good control for FPS (quick side) and MMORPG (control side) games.Small enough to fit on a cluttered desk. |

Cons: Mine came with this fairly large blemish (2-3 inches) on the "control" side of the mousepad in the middle/upper quadrant. When the mouse runs over it, it sometimes goes crazy on my screen. I'm not sure if it's worth going through the RMA process or not.
Pros: Looks good (not your standard rectangle or square shape...smooth edges), relatively big enough for travel.Comes with t on 2 sides, 1 is smooth the other is 'rough', and the mouse pad comes with stickers to put on your mouse feet to make the glide better and preserve your feet! Comment:
This is an identical hard plastic mouse pad to the 4HD but slightly smaller in size.The 2 sides are interesting. When I pick up my mouse and put it down on the smooth side, it takes my mouse (a CM Sentinel) 2 seconds to register that I picked the mouse up, and move. But on the rough side it's perfect, I can pick up the mouse and move it and my sensor (laser) will instantaneously detect movement. I'm not sure if it's due to the inherent design of the pad or the mouse.If you can pick one of these up for $15 or cheaper it's definitely worth it! I got this because I use my main mouse pad for use w/ my laptop. My other mouse pad has a plastic casing that the surface sits inside, which has grips on the bottom, so I can move the pad from room-to-room without having to re-locate a grip pad as well (and swap from quick to control surfaces easily).The grip pad works well and the mouse pad has not slipped on me once. Control is quite good in the FPS and MMORPG games I play, however, if it is probably a little small for the hard-core gamer. My desk is routinely covered in other things, so this one works well for me.I would recommend this mouse pad to others. Great cost/performance value.
