I almost didn't purchase this because someone said the PS3 wouldn't recognize a USB 3 drive. It DOES however works perfectly fine on the PS3, came pre-formatted as FAT32 so didn't even have to change anything. Great drive for the price! |

Just picked it up. Formatted to NTFS immediately and played around with a 5.7GB file. On SATA2, the speed would baseline around 31MB/s and on SATA3, it would baseline around 49 MB/s. This is crazy fast and sure beats picking up a "high-speed USB 2" flash drive. I used to use an external HDD to place my videos for watching on a media device but this flash drive will probably replace it as this is way faster. 5* rating on SATA2 speed, 4* rating on SATA3 speed. |

Cons:-A bit thick so you can not use it right next to another one.-Cap does not stay on the back of the drive too well.-No LED indicator when working-Gets a bit warm

I picked this up to replace an old aging flash drive. It works very well and is quite fast. You can get faster, but for the price, I think I got the right one. The biggest downfall is the lack of an indicator led.I would consider buying more or the bigger ones like this in the future.It looks like lots of cons, but those are more things to look at to ensure it still meets your needs. |

The lack of a light was an important consideration since I'm planning on using this in my car. The only thing is that it's fairly long but for $20, high speed of the unit and build quality, it's worth it. |

Out of box -=Works Amazing=- Fast, worth upgrading from any usb 2.0 stick you own. Best thing to do when plugging it in, is reformat it and change the Format from FAT32 to NTFS this way you can place larger files. (Right click on the stick in "My Computer" then click format and VOIILLA!) |

This is not one of those crappy Corsair USB 3 drives. Its performance is much closer to Mushkin Ventura Pro than your average USB 3 drives. When plugged into USB 3 port it reads at 100MB/S and writes at 45MB/S. When plugged into USB 2 port it still performs way faster than other drives (reads at about 35MB/s and writes at 25MB/s).Well worth the $27 when on sale. |

First of all, it's very fast even if I don't have USB3, it will be better when I do. The price (25$) was cheaper than the competition for the same size and speed. It got lifetime warranty which is also great. The only negative is the cap which can be lost. Also a lanyard would be good. |
