AMD A10-5800K 3.8GHz Socket FM2 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Performance compared to 2600k I owned
Pros:Easy to OCCheapGood price/performance Comment:
This CPU + Mobo costed less than 2600k itself. Stock speed performance was not within my standard but I OC this CPU to 4.5 using Cooler Master 212 and I was able to play Guild Wars 2 with no problem. (Couldn't notice the difference btw 5800k & 2600k) Borderland2 with no stutter/lag (I use 7970 with this cpu fyi) I def recommend this if you are planning to OC this cpu. |
upgraded to this quad core from a pentium 4, it was so loud. this cpu is very fast vs that, keeping it at stock so it's nice and cool.
